ctgilles eyelid LED feedback thread.
And to people like tanktube67: I have organised this to do good for other forum members. If you are unhappy with the results I suggest you resell them to other members who want them. (Enough of them around, see my previous reply.)
yall are living in a dream e-world... some a you are gettin way to comfortable with the whole buying online thing... if you put your money towards ANYTHING online... or towards ANYTHING you don't physically see... you should already understand the risk behind it.

Of course its always a risk, but out of the surely thousands of online purchases I have done over the years, not many of them have failed, and in the majority of the purchases the sales description of the item has been correct, wich in this case, it wasnt.
If I can find time this week I will try to measure the output voltage to the bulbs, at first directly after turning them on, and then again when they have turned blue to see if I can find any anomalies in the voltage.
Problem is that the voltage to the bulb is cut when the load dissapears, may have to measure the voltage under load only.

I've been burned by this LED obsession before like everyone else (not AZN's fault) and couldn't stand the blue LED look. But I'm happy with these sets of LEDs. I think the color looks fine.

Thanks for the effort though ctgilles.
like...was engine running or not, was a/c on or off, was stereo on or off, was headlight on or off, was fog light on or off...what's the ambient temperature outside...etc..etc..
maybe we can then figure out what's the cause for the color change...

Is anyone selling to AZN_C300? If not I will be hooking him up but with all the "complainers" I told him to try them first. Then they won't have LEDs that make them unhappy.
Did you get a Philips (brand) D1S or just a generic one? I doubt that a Philips is worth the premium $ compared to a no-name product. Am I correct or do you think they last double or give a lot more light?
Conditions:
25 degrees Celsius outside. / AC on / logic7 audio / JL 250/1 amp in the trunk.
During the day they looked pretty white - at least when I first installed them but at night they look blue.
I'm not sure if I like it or not - to be honest I already forgot what the factory bulbs looked like. I'll drive around for a few days before making final judgment.
To CTGilles: I have 6000k D1S phillips and yes they are very bright. I got them on ebay for about $130.
Screwing the organizer will end up hurting the community in the long run as no one will want to host something like this anymore and bring products or deals to you.

For those looking for a refund... this is a GB, not a store... @ctgilles and @Azn_C300 are both doing this as a favor to other forum members. Please don't take advantage of the situation. If you don't like them, feel free to sell your used bulbs to someone who does.
