Yep, a Government Motors product and the place where plastic goes to die...but still powered by a Gen IV V8 - one of (if not THE) best gasoline V8's ever produced.
I currently own 2 LS1 powered F-bodies (one with just a hair over 800 whp) and 1 LT1 power f-body...and honestly, they are some of the most reliable and trouble free cars, and get 28 mpg (with sub 13 sec 1/4 times) stock. Fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired, but I still love mine and will have my Firebird long after my Benz is gone.

Saw one for the first time on Friday. Looks pretty cool, nice lines. The price point starts pretty low, around $23. I would imagine the streets will be flooded with them.
The SS1/SS2 is pretty hot though. Brembo brakes, optional effects, 426HP V-8.

Why not have both? LOL! What is your age group? I'm 31 and has been a long hardcore Transformers fan. I'm thinking of trading/selling my Accord for Bumblebee also, but wife is not letting me...lol

I'm can't call myself a transformers fan (watched like 1 or 2 episodes when I was younger :P), but I really like both movies, and the Camaro looks damn nice in them.
Maybe if I get enough money I can infact get both XD
It just fits as a first car.... but then again the Benz is probably built better in every way, and slightly more good looking :P

Agreed. Get what you want now (whether it's a MB, or Camaro, or whatever). Once you get married, most likely your wife will be more accepting of you getting a MB (rather than a MB now and a Camaro later)...

Don't get me wrong, I really love the 10' Camaro, it's seems that it'll be more enjoyable for YOU to drive the Camaro at this point in life. The road is long, drive something you'll be comfortable with, not because how the design will change in the future.

I'm asking on the camaro5 forums if they're gonna have that nice paint available... then add the stripes, and it's good enough for me
my fear is the next C class might be uglier, or even nicer! so I could have a nice camaro for 3-4 years, then move on to a gorgeous C class, or not get one at all (if i don't like the design)

c-class just came out in 08, so they are due for a facelift in 2012 and most likely will not been redesigned until 2016..
we had a 04 c240 and that car was relaced by a 06 c230 after some idiot rear ended my dad on freeway..
IMO, the 06 c230 is way better than the 04 c240..MB really get the car right w/ later facelifted w203..
if past history hold, w204 w/ facelift will be even better..
if I were you, I would enjoy the Camaro for a few yrs and get a c-class 4-5 yrs down the road..
you will be mid-20s by then and the move should suit you well..

Those camaros go for so cheap, the roads are gonna be flooded with them. Although I am impressed for 25Gs you can get a 300hp engine. Not many can get a engine like that for so cheap. Plus it includes even 18s, and a bunch of nice features for a cheap price. Not a fan of american cars, but this is quite a deal if I must say.
