Labrador Pup Redlines C Class.
I made the error of leaving the drivers door open with the engine running whilst removing the trailer from the rear of the car. To my surprise the engine revolutions increased dramatically. On inspection a rather surprised looking 10 month old Labrador pup had jumped in & had her ar#* on the throttle.Luckily the key is easily accessible on a RHD.

wow... that was borderline dangerous.
by the way, just curious, why did you choose the C? arent there some other cars that do a better job when it comes to pulling trailers, going over dirt roads and transporting lemons?

I chose a C class because it came in diesel for good fuel efficiency & pulling power & rear wheel drive which gives improved traction on gravel & for towing.
The great thing about the car is that it can look swish with a 'wash' around town, handle & ride like few others & does enjoy & is very capable of doing a little hard work when required.
In other words a flexible & all round vehicle.

Every Farmer in South Africa drives multiple diesel Benz cars - They are tough as hell. They run them on low tax farming diesel & they handle dirt roads well. I consider them underated. Once you are used to that diesel torque it's hard to give up. Like being on the end of a long elastic band.
I like the throttle pusher. We had one in the farmily that would push the horn when feeling neglected.
