Here is a DIY video on how to remove the headlamps from the front bumper:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XU6bSJ-b0mk

This video will also show you how to remove the grille, how to access the sidemarkers, and will also give you a great understanding of what retrofitted HID kits look like and most of the way to removing the entire front bumper completely.

Take a flat bladed screwdriver cover the end with masking tape (don't want scratches) and pry it of gently. Change bulb (194) and pop it back in. I have never seen anything but the red lens.

Yes I am aware of that but thank you. This hood is very similar to what
"Dad C63" from central florida in forums has on his monstrous AMG .. It is specifically designed to fit my C300 4M

I think HOOD REPLACEMENT DIY is practically the only thing left to do in the thread! Any volunteers ?

Sunglass holder

Hi all i have a 2011 c250 and it came with a sunglass holder that replaces the hold on bar (i think thats what it's called)on the drivers side of the car. I have tried to take off the hold on bar but i didn't want to break the plastic clips by forcing the screwdriver to hard. Is there an easy way to take this off so i can replace it with the sunglass holder. Thanks in advance.

Hi Daniel, i've changed both my hold on bars to sunglasses holder in the 2012 W204, you need to pry open the small plastic tab with a flat screwdriver and it'll loosen the clip. then its easier to pull out.

If you had a spare sunglass holder or hold on bar, turn it around and you'd get the picture.

Remove the 3 plastic tabs from the plastic fender well liner, peel back, and there is 1 torx screw that holds the bumper light in. Twist the bulb housing and pull it out.
