I've seen side markers on eBay. There 40-60$ and i haven't checked how much the oem ones are. But anyways. I thought about changing mine to clear one with a chrome bulb.
I would like to find a DIY guide as well so its easy to swap them once I get some

Do you have anything definitive on how to change the combination (cabin) filter? What I have found so far is 2 different versions, and before I dismantle my 2008 C300 Sport 4matic, I would like to try to understand what I am doing. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Does anyone know how to replace the passenger side marker lamp? My illuminates, but "pop" out slightly at the top. The owner's manual says it is a complex operation best left to a MB dealer. Any and all help is most welcome!!!

Yes, thank you,. I am going to the dealer (I still have OEM warantee left) and have them fix it because it is a safety issue if it falls out while driving. All for the lack of a missing 1/2 or metric equivalent screw, a day is lost. Oh well, you want to play in the Mercedes league, bring money- lots.

Doesn't seem to have info on how to take off the OEM painted cover.
Also does anyone have DIY instructions on how to remove the cigarette adaptor from the glove box? I was able to drop the glovebox but couldn't figure out how to remove the cigarette adaptor? Specifically the spring loaded cap?

I had a similar problem in that the marker exterior lens was coming out- I had it fixed because the lone screw that holds it firmlt sandwiched - the lens and the bulb mount- over the bumper cover. I believe you have to remove either the wheelwellpanelor the splash panel to get at it fromunderneath. The owners manual recommends that it is a difficult repair and you should take it back tothe dealer. My repair took less than 15 minutes becausw the shop that helped me has a lift and works on Mercs allthe time. And,by the way, he said it was so simple "nocharge". My point? If you can jack upthe wheel, remove the liner/s you probably will spend more time jacking and unscrewing then changing. The bulbholder assembly has 2 hooks,a clip, and a screw, so you need to be able to reach both inside and outside the bumper cover to get it mounted. Hope this helps.

a few people have asked the same thing, no one has made a diy guide for it because they all claim its easy.... but for people that haven't done it before, its much better to see how its done before u start taking stuff apart.

you have to go through the wheel well. You don't need a lift or to jack up the car, just turn the wheels in the opposite direction of the fender you are working on. There are 3 or 4 plastic "pins" that you pull the center piece out of then you can pull out the body of the pin. Pull the liner away from the quarter panel into the wheel well enough to get your hand/hands in there. The light is held in place by a clip on top you need to release. Then pull the top out away from the fender and the bottom kind of pivots out also. There is a plastic housing on the back side. I seem to remember seeing pics of this somewhere, pictures usually help me more than a narrative, but this really is a pretty simple process. I've done it a few times. Hope this helps.

Hey guys, any info on how to R&R the Horns on our car? Mine stopped working and mechanics want $350 to replace the high and low. Mine keeps popping the fuse and they tell me the High horn has failed to ground. I don't even know where the horns are. Any help would be most appreicated.
