20's are hard to do on these cars. Do you have a 4Matic? If so, it's near impossible.

Hello everyone.

I'd like to know if this offset will work on my 2008 C230 4matic. If the offset will work, will a 255 be too wide on the rear? They are 18" AMG rims.

OEM Merecedes rims off a new E550. wrapped in Yokohama YK58 near-new rubber.235/40R18 fronts and rears 255/35R18 with offsets ET45 and ET48.

Any help would be very much appreciated as I need to act fast on the wheels. I don't think they will be for sale much longer.

Looks like they may work but am unsure if they will work with a 4matic but I am assuming that is more of a larger diameter restriction rather than offset. Rears would be an offset difference of 10mm wider if I am correct.

I did some digging and found this:

My car currently has:

Front tire Size: 225/45 R17 Wheel Size: 7.5J x 17 ET 47

Rear tiire Size: 245/40 R17 Wheel Size: 8.5J x 17 ET 58

C300/C350 (non 4Matic) Wheel Information

Diameter Range
17" - 20"

Width Range
Front: up to 8.5"
Rear: up to 9.5"

Offset Range
+40 - +54

Bolt Pattern
5 x 112

Mercedes Benz C220 CDI Sport
Input on this set up

Hi fellow enthusiasts, hope I can get some help with this.

I have a C220 CDI sport model with stock staggered 17" wheels.
A friend of mine has a set of 19's off his audi wagon that im looking to buy.

They are
19x8.5 +42 front 245/35/19
19x8.5 +42 rear 245/35/19

My current wheels are 225/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear.

Will this set up work/does anyone else have this set up?

Cheers!

The wheels I'm going with are 18x8 +42 || 18x9.5 +48... TireRack suggests this tire size: 225/40/18 and 255/35/18

I wanted to have a little more tire to protect the wheels and maybe a little smoother ride-

Will I be able to run this setup without rubbing?
Front: 18x8 +42 245/40/18
Rear: 18x9.5 +48 265/35/18

Wheel/Suspension Setup ????

Looking to do the following setup on my W204 C300 4Matic Sport... Will I have any issues? Should I get spacers for the rear wheels? Ideally, I would like the wheels to sit flush with the fenders with a minimal tire to wheel well gap..... and of course have no rubbing!

Front:
18x8 w/48mm offset
Bilstein B6 Performance Strut
H&R Sport Spring Set
Rear:
18x9 w/45mm offset
Bilstein B6 Performance Shock
H&R Sport Spring Set

I have a 2012 C350 coupe with 19 inch wheels, when I hit some bumps the outer wheel well lip rubs the tire, how can I stop this without dropping to 18 inch wheels?
