2 Kinds of Clear Side Markers; Which to get?

I've searched and read through pretty much all the side marker threads but the ebay links on them seem to be not working. So I searched on ebay for clear side markers and I found 2 kinds.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-...Q5fAccessories

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...Q5fAccessories

I think they're the same, but on the 2nd one, I think I see a small black outer edge inside the side marker. Which is better and which did you buy?

I bought mine from the 2nd link and it looks good and clean without the black marking on the edges.

I was going to buy the 1st one because I noticed the pictures in that one are of the EXACT same car as Derspeed's.
I can tell by the trees in the background of the pictures.

+1 on the 2nd link, bought from him as well. He provides free chromed amber light to comply with California motor vehicle code.

I bought mine from the 1st link as well, it's all a matter of personal preference I think.

I bought the one from the 2nd link on Sunday night.
Hopefully, it'll be here by Wednesday or Thursday.

There were some people on this forum who didn't like that black line around them when they saw them in person.

I could see that. It might be that the first link is better for white and iridium cars, while the second looks better for palladium and black.

Have you seen them in person? Is there really a black edge around it?
Asianguy said there wasn't a black edge.
