Be prepared to spend $$$$$$$$
Mid city engineering offers a version that displays through your speedo display.

The other version that I know of is from Renntech.

Any reason you want the Valentine 1 remote mount? I recently attended a Luxury/Exotic meet with the Orlando Automotive Club and I was surprised at how many Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Porsche's etc had windshield mount radar detectors (Beltronics, Passport etc). Don't get me wrong. I think they are incredible but I can't justify $1k+ on a radar detector.

I looked at their web site and sat and stared at the mirror hardware for a while and cannot see how the power source works out. Is it a headliner de-trim? Is there some harness pig tail up there to tap or does it need splicing?

A new V1 is $399. We bought one, then a second. It is outstanding. The bogey counter and directional arrows work beautifully. I had others...now just the V1.
The mirror mount looks great, but I'm not willing to start cutting and splicing wires.

the V1 has saved me countless number of times...gives plenty of time to slow down...though if you get hit with laser you're prolly gonna get a ticket...
I ran it using the str8 wire from the glovebox outlet up the pillars and thru the headliner so i wouldnt have any wires dangling in front of me and didint have to splice any wires...

i have a question, if you are stopped for any reason and the officer sees your radar unit.......is it illegal to have a radar unit? i just have to ask ( i have no idea if legal ).

MOST states allow radar detectors - you run into problems in cities like Wash D.C. where security is of utmost importance
Same rule applies with laser jammers - they are generally accepted, but check your State's specific statute

Did you intend to subtract the District of Columbia as a state? We have 50 states, plus D.C. Therefore, with Virginia as the only state having detectors illegal, we are OK in 49 states!

Costs would be around $200 plus parts (the mirror ane remote display) - the mirror would have to be tested to ensure it can be modified and has enough space inside, ebay is a good source.
Feel welcome to post or PM me if you'd like to discuss.
Chris.
