Wondering if Mercedes would allow (Warranty) the Service B to be done in the USA on a Canadian car? I haven't checked in on the price here, but I go to Seattle often enough, so if I could save a few bucks doing the service down there i'd be all for it!

 

I dont' see why not. Cos when my sister in law took her honda accord she got here to korea Honda in korea serviced it without hesitation.

 

If I remember correctly, some dealerships and manufacturers have a data card system that indicates things like dealership location, delivery date, etc just by running the VIN in the system. I am not if dealerships have access to this, but I am sure manufacturers do.

Knowing MB of Canada and MB USA are different but are within the same continent I am not so sure.

Additionally on the MB USA Services and Warranty Book, it says
WARRANTY AVAILABLE: This warranty is
applicable only in the United States and
Puerto Rico. If you take your vehicle to
Canada temporarily, such as on vacation,
warranty service may be requested from
any authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.
In all other countries defects in material
and workmanship will be handled in accordance
with the terms and limitations of
the Daimler AG Limited Warranty of 24
months with unlimited miles.

Check your warranty book to see if it says something about going on "vacation" to the US and getting things serviced.

 

You can service the car in the US but any warranty work will be under the Canadian coverage.

 

Nice! Now to do some price checking, I can't stand not getting the best deal!

 

You can call my dealer who I am happy with. I think they are less expensive than Barrier MB in Bellevue.

Lived in Toronto, Ontario but worked in Indianapolis back in 1999- 2004....so I did commute back and forth and My benz are service in Indy dealer and sometimes in Toronto dealer....
warranty still intact.
Yes... states is cheaper than Canada for service on my C280 1995 but I've not bring the C300 2008 down to states yet.
As for the warranty... I paid for it in Indianapolis and claimed it back with Toronto dealer for the same amount.... that was back in 1999.
make sure you have all the documentation.

 

RLE, is that where you service your C? I thought it was for older models... I've got service booked at the downtown location shortly.

I wonder if the hospitality is any different, just a few miles away from Airport Way...
