Finally talked to the boss and persuaded him to give me the best price. Parts only is $750 but finally he agreed on $700 + shipping.
Another 5% off if i can get a few more members to jump in on this purchase with me, anybody interested?

Ultimately it's up to him if he wants to sell 3 or 4 black plastic versions or 10-15 mesh versions. It looks like there are many people on here that would spring for the mesh version if the price was right - me included

can't wait for the night-time pics.. you said it was bright from far away, so do you know how much lumen it produces versus the oem fogs? i really like these but for my road conditions, i need one that is bright as my stocks or brighter but never less.... thanks..

I am still not sure the price, I am sure if he can do the mesh version it will take a longer time to produce if there are more orders.
But seriously, if price is more than $900 , don't you think is too much to pay?

Sorry just to show you a night-time pic, got to borrow this picture from somewhere else. It is done by the same mod shop. I promise to snap more pics tomorrow.
burnteggroll, i can't compare them with the fogs as the fogs aren't there anymore :-P. Remember before the HID were around, sometimes we can't really see if headlights were turned on or off in broad day light. Then came the HID and it was quite bright even in daytime. Finally those Audi cars with the DRL...when i first saw those i said "Man, those are the brightest, you can kill a dracula faster than the sun does"
I don't think anybody has actually measured the lumen?

Yes. To do that he has to create special moulding or something. End result will have brackets just like the original. Plug N Play.
If i remembered correctly i asked him about mesh version and he said it would take double the work and time, therefore cost is high.

Mod shop confirmed that he will not be selling the mesh version. Because too much work and too costly.
Therefore we are left with the only option, the plain black version. I really won't mind, these DRLs are really a killer at night.
I think it looks very cool without the headlights switched on.

The mod shop doesn't have a website. I will be handling the orders for him if anybody is interested to buy.
