Good Deal for 2010 C300

I found the perfect car but I need your help to see if I can do better than this. The car is a Mars Red (Black Interior) 2010 C300 with Multimedia Package, Panoramic Roof, Spoiler, 18" rims, and P1. The sticker is $43,650 and the dealer wants $800 to get it from another dealer in Tennessee. His last offer was $42,600 including transportation and $44,375 out the door with taxes and fees. I stuck with my original offer of $43,000 out the door and they are still refusing. Is this price really unreasonable?

Thank You

nm - just saw 3%....

You aren't getting anything for a deal...

@ 12% discount with a 3% sales tax you are at about $39,5...dealer needs to come down...ridiculous premium

I know it's a 2010 but I wouldn't think anything over 40K would be a "good" deal....and the $800 fee is way overpriced even if they truck it across the entire state.

Another round of ICE
$800 shipping is outrageous. My dealer shipped my 2009 C300 from Minneapolis to Detroit (about 700 miles) for $300 and I got a $37k sticker for $32k at the start of the 09 model year. I would pay $39.5k including all shipping (plus tax), which assumes 10% off sticker.

You should get thousands off the car.

Email a few more dealers.

10% off the sticker is definitely the most generous offer you can find, and you won't get it from most dealerships. I can get a new one for 12% off the sticker but only by combining my 10% overseas military buyer with 2% previous owner incentive. That 12% matches the Mercedes employee purchasing incentive.

2010 C300 Sport, 2008 335xi Coupe
Doesn't sound like a great deal. By way of comparison, I just purchased a 2010 C300 Sport Sedan w/ Multimedia, Premium I, Auto transmission and Back-up Camera for $36.1k (approx. $38.4k out the door including road-hazard insurance)...MSRP was $41.4. I'd find another dealership to work with...most seem to be banking on making money on service and financing on the back end, and appear willing to even consider taking a loss on the cars to keep their numbers up. Last I checked C-class sales are still down about 30% for the year despite the deals they're cutting, it's definitely a buyers market.

Dude.....I just got an 09 C350 with Multimedia Package, P2, and ipod. (New member btw, will post details later) for $38k OTD. Even if it is a 2010, it seems like a lot for a C300....

That dealer would make thousands and thousands and thousands on that deal.

Again, look elsewhere.

Some dealers are like that, they want every car they sell to be big profits.

In this economy, I would think invoice + 500 would be a gettable deal
