Which car would you rather buy just based off looks?

If money wasn't an issue, and the C and E had same features, did the same stuff, etc, which car would you rather buy if looks was the only factor?

Ah come on... not a fair question. I like the front end on the E, not so much the back, but at the end of the day, the E is in a different class and would have to take it over the C if given the option.

Another round of ICE
If the premise is all are the same size, content, price, and only vary in exterior design, then:

1) 211
2) 204

3) 212

E Class only for the 2 door coupe, the 4 door C looks better. I was going to buy a CLK 2 door instead of the C class but they quit production on them right before I was ordering. Then I was going to get the SLK, but the model availability was like 8 months after the C class and I wasn't sure if I would still be in Germany (I am). The new E Class was still unannounced and didn't even have pricing. If I was ordering today, it would definitely be the E class coupe, I just picked like the worst time ever to order my car.

depends wat ur lookin for.... alotta ppl here say C class or E class coupe cuz it has a sportier look and this is a forum so mostly ppl who are into sporty cars come on here. but for luxury, the E class sedan looks pretty dam classy to me. it looks like a mini version of the S class. so it all depends on which style you prefer.

C class suuuuuuucks for not having perforated leather seats w/ seat cooling. It's available in like, every other class. That's about the only real luxury improvement I noticed in the E over the C, though the visceral experience of the E did seem more luxurious besides that because of little tweaks in the lighting, trim lines, and such.

The interior in the Coupe is almost identical to the C (except the seats).

I have been seeing the new E around town and think the darker colers look much better. It seems to reduce the wide/flat look of the rear tail lights...which I think look a bit squashed. Overall, a much better looking car in person than in pics.

C on looks over the E3xx, unless you need the extra room (especially in the back seat).

E55 or E63 look great, so would take them over the C if you want kickass performance and luxury, but don't need the practicality of the C as a daily driver (optional 4Matic, good gas mileage).

If you get into the CLKs, I might be convinced otherwise!

Really depends on what you want/need out of a car. Can't go wrong either way.

Based on looks, forget the C or E. Give me a 1950's Citroen Goddess

212 any day just based on look.

204 rear without the trunk lip spoiler looks horrible. same goes for the 211.

If the E had the nose of the upcoming revised CLS, that would be it. But it's too goofy from the front as is.
