17" amg rims?..
What do you guys think the price of 17' AMG rims are? the one that came with the c300 as sport package and the c350 regular ones.. ? I'm thinking of picking up a set as my summer as I'm gonna use the ones I have now as my winters, but I have no idea how much the 17' amg ones cost.
thanks,
thanks,

I, myself want to go larger too but then I don't know what to do with my 17' tires now.. cuz they already have decent amount of milage on them, 17k kms. O yea, I forgot to say that I'm pretty much looking for "USED" ones since buying new ones from the dealer I can probably pick up some aftermarket ones or something..

I got my car from a friend who works at the dealership and he quoted me 4K for the C350 stock set (18" twinspoke AMG). Original plan was to get that set for summer and use the stock C300 as winter set, but the price isn't anywhere near practical.
Edit: Didn't see you were looking for used ones.

I bought my 17" AMG rims for $600 delivered and they were in excellent condition. Same tire size as the dual 7 spoke stock 300 wheels. I like the 17" 6 spoke better than the 18" 5 spoke.
Just my personal preference.

You might consider replicas
I recently purchased some 17" AMG replicas from powerwheelspro.com and am very pleased with the quality and appearance.
No affiliation with them just a MB C300 owner looking for quality rims at a very competitive price.

@akdan,
I was not able to find the ones I want. Though going replica isn't impossible.. I was wondering what's the difference between replicas and OEM? easier to bend/break the rims?

OEM rims will obviously be of high quality and fitment. Replicas are made by a number of aftermarket manufacturers with varying degrees of quality and fitment that attempt to look similar to OEM designs. They are generally significantly cheaper to purchase and there is some risk in the quality until you actually receive them and use them.
In this case I looked for several months to find the OEMs but could not find them for a what I felt was a reasonable price.
Took a chance with the replicas from powerwheelspro and am pleased with the result for the money.
I would prefer OEM if I could find them but in the meantime the replicas seem to an acceptable alternative.

yea, I want to see some too. On the site you provided I couldn't find the 17" amgs.. which ones did you buy off that site? I really like the CL65 rims.. but they are either 19 or 20s.. If only they came in 17s.. but then again those rims might look ugly being small..

I bought the 818s in 17 inch. I like the look of 18s and 19s but the ride comfort is more important than appearance. I prefer the 809s but they are out of stock. They look good on the C300 in the gallery.
Take a look at the gallery tab for a good overview of the makes and models. The 818s are on a yellow VW and a SLK.

hmmm... I'm still on the fence between used OEM rims or replica rims.. Another question would be.. how bout other rim companies such as VMR? I know they have a replica rim that looks like the HRE p40s so would the company VMR considered making "replicas" as well? just need to get straight the quality and differences. I wouldn't want to cheap out on some rims but have to replace them because they get bent easily or something.

patrickkc,
Know what you mean. I'm looking at wheels also but don't want to spring the $4K.
Now, I'm not even sure that I want the AMG ones. A few weeks ago, I was at the dealership and saw on the E cars a rim that's not on the website. Driving me nuts.
I may just stick with my original 17"ers.

damn, well I have time until spring. Winter doesn't really end here until like april so I still have around 3-4 months to find a good set of rims.

yea, I couldn't find the ones I was looking for either on that site. btw, Does anybody if there are the CL65 rims for 17" replica? I know they come in 19's and 20's but wondering if there would be a slight chance of it being in 17s'.

It's listed as fitting the W204. It is possible to fit the W203 and W204 after all...
