C300 4Matic OE tires really suck
Is it me, or do the Continental ContiProContact tires really suck? They are loud, have a harsh ride, mediocre dry pavement performance and really suck in snow. I cannot wait until this set wears out so I can get Pirelli P-Zero Nero's.

Another satisfied customer..
Why not remove them right now and fit the tires you want? I had those rags pulled off my car before delivery and sold them on Craigslist. Don't expect to get a lot but why suffer for 20K miles?

seems to me with the most miles reported (36,724,029), these seem be the best overall:

Conti Extreme Contact are not in any way the top tire!?!?! They just have more miles reported, but are in fourth place with only top rating on one individual category. Don't confuse miles driven with quality of performance! Between DWS and Pilot Sport, it depends what you want. As I have dedicated winter tires, I prefer the stronger "Cornering" and "Steering" performance of the Pilot Sport A/S Plus in the "Dry" ratings. The DWS are great overall, but give up some "Dry" performance to the Michelins to gain in the snow. Look at the individual column ratings.

I sold my stock tires a couple months after I bought my car knowing that I will be using the stock wheels for my winter set.
I used the Kuhmo ESCTA Supra tires for my summer set and it was like night and day. It was much quieter and had great grip in wet and dry conditions. It was also an excellent value at around $110 a tire.

+1 - the Conti's absolutely suck on these cars. Harsh noisy crap & will get worse with wear until you believe every wheel bearing on the vehicle is shot & can feel the drumming through the steering & floor of the car. I chucked the Contis off both our cars very early in life - they are awful
The Michelin PS2 or PS A/S Plus or Exalto PE2 are superb on the 203 & 204. I speak from experience. Depends on your climatic conditions. A/S for you.
