Just For Fun: Top 5 Brands & "What Single Car Other Than The C-Class Would You Own?"
So this is just for fun and to get an idea of what everybody's tastes are like on this forum:
Question 1: What Are Your Top 5 Automotive Brands?
Question 2: If you could only have one car to drive and could not pick the C-Class what car would you buy? [You're free to choose a runner up and can select a Mercedes-Benz product for both.]
Question 1:
I prefer European brands, so mine will be all European. My top Japanese brand though is Nissan/Infiniti and my top American brand would be Ford.
1. Mercedes-Benz
2. BMW
3. Ferrari
4. Porsche
5. Audi
Question 2:
If I couldn't have a C-Class/C63 AMG then I would definitely choose the BMW M3, with the Audi S4 a fairly close second.

Question 1:
I'm gonna exclude exotics from this
1. Porsche
2. VW/Audi
3. Mercedes
4. BMW
5. Land Rover
Question 2:
If I totalled my C right now I'd get either an Audi S5 or Porsche Cayman.

I did put Ferrari over there in my list, just because the 02-04 Ferrari 360 modenas are entering into an acceptable and affordable price ... 4-5 year old 50-70k car is fine by me.. it costs triple as much as it is... and most are in Top conditions and in low mileage ranges... i would consider a used ferrari
...
Of course, It's still a Ferrari.. As well i would consider a Cayenne Turbo, i will buy it used if get it... the thing is that these cars don't get used as much as i see them here inthe island
i even was looking @ one at the classifieds right now...@ 46k with 28k miles from 06 ... There are 06-07 Cayman S @ 40k with 12k miles ...
And this raises a cuestion within me.... do people the that can afford these kind of cars, buy them because they are usable?... or is just as an accessory?.. the new one comes on and you change it?.. all i know my mercedes will stay with me as long as 10 years..
that's a promise i will keep

Q1.
I like cars individually, the brand isn't a major factor to me, so it's hard to say. but to very generally name a few some companies that make a lot of cars that i like, Excluding exotics, i'd say
bmw and merc tied for 1st
audi and alfa follows
Q2
if money is not a concern - Rapide![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
if it is, and i'm not allowed a c63, probably an E92 M3

1. Mercedes Benz
2. Audi
3. Ferrari- Even though I don't fit well into most of them...they are fun once I get wedged in there.
4. Aston Martin
5. SAAB- Always had a sweet spot for SAAB...not totally sure why but there it is...lol.
Cost No Object- Aston Martin Vantage V8- To this day, my favorite car I have ever driven.
Cost Considered- Audi S5...the old ones with a proper V8
