80 degrees is a bit low, almost like a bad thermostat (while a bad thermostat often keeps the engine temperature even lower, at cold winter days). 90 degrees is perhaps a bit higher than typical but quite OK.

2009 Mercedes Benz C350 CDi
Willas I am averaging, with limited country driving, mainly city driving, about 9.3l / 100 km. On a country run alone it can drop down to 6.7l/100km.

C320cdi 204.289
Is that a a CDI 4-matic or are you asking about the C300 for reference? If you were referring to a CDI, you either have to be driving all the time in a city full of traffic jams or racing on a track. I have not checked carefully but I think our 204.089 consumes at least the same as the 212.025 but still in the order of 7 litres per 100 km overall average.
