i need to remove the stock sidemirror glasses and put euro convex mirrors.
does anyone know how to remove the stock glasses?
i've done 203 but haven't done 204 b4...

where did you get the euro convex mirrors and are they oem or not?

also do they come with the auto dimming feature?

I don't know which model you are referring to here, but the 204 mirror glasses are removed by popping them out with a plastic wedge from the top.

Coincidentally, I have a new convex left side mirror glass for the new style mirror that I would love to sell. It is heated and self dimming. It's the same glass the GLK uses.

I would be interested in purchasing this from you, however where did you get the left side from and is it possible to get the right side.

Does your 2009 have the new (not new now) style mirrors? I doubt it.

I purchased my c350 in June 2009 so I guess my mirrors are the old sytle, however did the glass size change too?

I believe the design of the mirror housing changed and not the glass.

The glass in the new style is very slightly smaller at the upper inner corner where you never look anyway. The question is whether the mounting is the same. I have my old '08 mirrors and I will search for my convex glass (around here someplace) and if I can remove the glass from the old left side mirror I can compare the two.

The convex glass I have came in the new mirror and I found that I preferred a flat glass so bought one locally. I like the convex for the right side.

As to cost, I would be looking for about 1/2 dealer retail. You can check on what that might be today.
