What do I have Sports or Luxury???
Hi All,
I recently leased a 2010 C 300 Sports.
I asked for the following configuration
Black with Mocha Interior
Walnut Trim
P1 Package
Multimedia Package
It has the sports Appearance.
Only thing I noticed today is that the steering wheel is a 4 spoke?
Did the dealer give me a luxury and just change the Grill to Sports?
I do have the C/S transmission, is that available only in Sports or also in Luxury?
How can I really find out if he gave me the sports model or not??

you should have the AMG body kit, and you should have a flat badge along with a grille with the star on it. body kit being the main one seperating a C300 Sports to Luxury model

I have seen several 09 and 10 w204 sport w/ mocha interior and they all have the 4 spoke steering wheel..
Check your rear and front fog lights, if you have black plastic piece piece on the rear and small fog light, then it is sport version

You may have a sport despite the steering wheel. I recall that the tan interior had several restrictions....no aluminum trim, four spoke wheel, as I recall. Check the window sticker or invoice which came with your car...does it have 333 Sport Sedan on it?

Sport models have distinctive difference: rear wheels are wider than front, gives better handling, but you can't rotate them while servicing and as result - you have to replace them more often.
Luxury models have all 4 wheels the same size.

Avant Garde (Highest), Elegance and Classic
Avant Garde is basically your US luxury bodykit + sport grille like above with aluminium trim inside
Elegance is usually wood trim with luxurykit
Classic is like elegance but with lower specs inside
Your sport is actually our avant garde with AMG bodykit

If you want to know, call MBUSA and have them run the VIN. They'll let you know. You can even get a copy of the original window sticker for free

In the US as of 2009 if the sport model has a tan interior it comes with the 4 spoke wheel. In 2008 you could not have tan in a sport so all of them had the 3 spoke with the 4 spoke in luxury models.

Yeah the tires is the easiest way to describe it. The bodywork is quite different, but tires give it away fast, 225s in front and 245s in rear. Luxury has 225s all the way around.
Glad you confirmed that you have the sport you wanted. I think the sport body styling looks really nice!

You are right this is not as slickly executed in our favorite brand as it is by some others with regard to easy aftermarket matching.

You are 100% correct for some reason the Mocha only comes with the four spoke wheel. Just post a pic of the car and we can tell.

You just have to look at your car. If this is your car above then you have the AMG sport package. The round fog lights are a dead give away..lol IF your car has the oval fog lights/ with metal or plastic brackets extending left and right then you have the luxury model

You do in fact have the sport model. My sisters 2011 is optioned the same way as yours. She has the sport model (the only ones in 2011 model year that come with LED DRL, and has the tan interior with the 4-spoke wheel. Even though its a sport, if you get the tan interior they give you the "luxury" styled steering wheel.
