The eyelids can either come on with the headlights or as parking lights along with the sidemarkers. There's so far now way to make only the eyelids come on from what we know.

No problem. What you could do if you REALLY want JUST the eyelids to come on is split power wire from either the left or right eyelid and feed it to the other light so that if you turn on one of the left or right parking lights by themselves (turning the little lighting control knob all the way to the left) the other ones come on too. But then again I'm a total newbie with electrical stuff so I'd consult someone else first.

Generally something like that could work though I guess.....Lol. Or the concept of it makes sense.

i just want them to be my daytime running lights, instead of the boring ones. i was thinking if its possible i could just swap the wires between the factory DRLs and the eyelids. so they kinda work backwards.

here in asia we don't have side markers
we can turn on the eye lids alone as park lights, or turn on with fog lights together is what i usually do

Not sure if that would work....or if that would be safe. Definitely I would consult a lighting specialist or something. But to be honest, in daylight, I don't think the eyelids would be bright enough for people to notice. Maybe if you're in the shade or something but in clear daylight it's really hard to notice.

yeah, even with brighter LEDs, day time is still hard to see because the sun light would shine on it, u get better chances with fog lights as DRLs, i guess thats y the newer models have LEDs there

eyelid for w220

Hello everyone. I just joined and I need help. I have a 2001 S430, and I would love to find led or polarg eyebrows to fit - alas I can not find them anywhere. I did see a picture on the web, but i can not tell if they are real light up or just a trim maybe painted on. Can anyone help.? I would really appreciate it. Thank You.https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif
