Is it possible to install Panorama Sunroof after? I mean I bought the car already (demo car) and I want to install the pano now. Do you think its possible? what are the drawbacks?

I don' think this is actually possible. You would have to rip off your whole roof no?

 

^^ Yeah that is what I thought too... oh well just have to be happy with normal roof + maybe paint it black (or CF vinyl) later

Talking about pan roof... What is the name of the roof that MB has on certain models where the entire roof is glass?!
That's what I thought a pan roof is untill I looked at w204 and it's technically 2 sunroofs! Not one entire glass roof!
So is it only for higher models? We can't get it on w204s?

 

Arman what you're talking about is called the Pano roof...

 

Kind of hard to see but I used to have r129 and this was the panoramic roof. U can get the same on newer SLs (not too sure about S or E klass)

And when I heard "panoramic roof" that's the image that came to head but on w204 it's not one entire glass roof.

That is the panoramic roof. The only reason is that the black strip in the middle is for the support for the frame of the car. The SL had the same bar, but because the car is much smaller and only has 2 doors, the suport beam does not need to be as robust. While the panoramic roof in some models is bigger than others, it all depends on the fram support and how big the vehicle is.

 

I do not know where you live but I was informed that it is possible by the dealer and they informed me they have done it on the E class and the C class and it costs like $4,000 to have it installed.

 

For that price it would probably be cheaper to just trade your car in for a pano equipped C class...

 

WOW! you guys got it cheap up there in states! the pano roof option for a new car cost us $3,200 down here. before installation. And even if possible to do on a demo/used car, it will cost me more
