Okay this might on the dummy side of questions. But I don't have my w204 yet so I ask u guys... :-)
Does the front bumper (north American version) already have those holes as they are shipped and assembled or does the dealer put those beautiful holes in our bumpers? (for licence plates that is) ?!
Hope that makes sense

Looking good.

Turn signals should be on the way in my next shipment. Manufacturer made a mistake and made fitment for rear light/rear brake lights. If you want to replace those bulbs with LEDs, let me know lol.

I'm interested! I'll take a pair of those and might have to order three more pairs of LEDs from you in a bit too. The ones on my sister's car are quite blue, even though a lighting buddy of mine put on external resistors (she didnt get the ones from your GB), so I figure I should change hers out for her. Plus I'm looking to change my licenseplate/sidemarker lights. Not sure when I can order though. My credit card's still not here yet.

On a more related note however, OP, I love your car! It's a shame though about the license plate holes. Have you considered painting the plugs? Or are those just the holes that my eyes cannot distinguish?

ok the situation with those damn holes is that no the factory does not drill them.

i ordered my car and had it watched while it was being manufactured it came off the boat and on to the dealers lot without the holes.

then while i was completing the lease agreement some idiot working at calstar put that idiotic license plate holder on the car which outraged me.

so after ripping him a new one myself . and trying everything to get it reversed i decided to keep the holes just in case i receive a ticket.

so i went to pepboys and purchased the little plastic covers to make it look acceptable.

Car looks clean! You could try bumperplugs.com, I used to have them on my old bumper. They color match.

Any reason the color spectrum is different on each side of your car? One side is more blue than the other... were the bulbs still warming up, or do you have a slightly different color temp bulb in the one foglight?

Your headlight pattern looks all messed up. The proper pattern should be like this: _/ (with light below and to the right of the lines); and your left and right beams should have parallel patterns ( _/ _/ ) not mirror images \ / that show on the pic . The current pattern you have will shine light on oncoming drivers. The light distribution is very non-uniform as well.

I have only a set of white and a set of red. I don't plan on carrying any of these in the future so these are the only sets that are available. $20 shipped per set. First to PM me gets em.

I assume you're referring to the tail/brake lights correct? I was referring to the front turn signals. My bad for not specifying. Unless of course you ARE referring to them. In that case....uhhh.

yeah, these are rear lights. You have 2 running lights when heads are on, and you have 1 brake light up top. These fit your running and your brake as those use the same connector but you'd probably use em for the top brake light.

Hmmm.... Some headlights have a lever or switch on the headlight body to switch the pattern between left hand traffic and right hand traffic. The Opel Vectra that I drove while on assignment abroad had this feature. Does MB ones have it as well -- perhaps the left side got switched over to LHT pattern (as needed in RHD countries like SA, UK).

Perhaps someone with original MB HIDs can post the pattern? I can post ones from my halogens -- they're very clearly _/ _/.

I also think they´re in a mess...the same happened to me with my halogen lights (they seemed like \ /) when changed them and i realised they were not well fixed, maybe half a turn wrong. Look carefully because i think you couldn´t see right at all with that light distribution...

Hope being understood...

greetings from Spain

I honestly have no problems with the visability i see everything...

but i might be having a problem blinding the people infront of me which doesnt realy bother me

but i am having a problem where my right fog light and sometimes the left too are giving off errors occasionally and turning off. My headlights are fine its just the fogs that are giving problems. i purchased my sets from hid extra.com 8000k

any ideas on whats going on??

Did you install the capacitors with the fogs?
