Mercedes warranty questions

My 08 c300 has 45k miles . when does the warranty expire? also, a friend of mine has the same car and one of her tires keep getting low tire pressure and the dealer said that it has some bubbles in it so it was lacking oxygen..lol i dont know if that makes any sense. so they went and replace the tire for her for free. I went to the dealer and they checked my tires and rims and said something is wrong with it. like when i go over 80mph, it makes a lot of noise. will the warranty cover it? like replacing my tires or what not? thanks

Your warranty expires at 4 years or 50,000 miles. Whichever comes first. In your case, that will be in another 5000 miles. I believe your friend might have the wheel protection package. I don't think any dealer will replace your tires and rims if you don't have that for free.

Are you talking about wheel and tires or what?

Whatever it is, what does the warranty agreement say?

Was your car brand new?

If your car was brand new, it must have Mercedes 4 year/50,000 mile warranty.

If your car was pre-owned, it doesn't have to have that.

Warranties vary by market. Not everyone gets the US Market warranty.

I'm in the same position OP is in... I have approx 46k on my car as well.

Is there any way to get it inspected just to make sure everything's ok?

Also, I remember on this forum someone made a post about the interior peeling by the cup holders (not sure where it was) now I have that same issue. Will MB dealers fix that up or is that a cosmetic issue and not covered?

Thanks and Good Day.

Thanks. My mind didn't click that it was probably a most of the world question and not from the U.S.

I think that was me with the peeling plastic part around the cup holders. I still haven't been to the dealership to see if it is covered by warranty. I did find the part (I think) at mercedesparts.com for like $28. It should be here anyday so I can see if I actually ordered the right part since there were no pics online, it's called the cupholder "bezel". I'm hoping to replace it myself or with an indy shop and avoid the stealership...I've heard countless stories of MB dealers finding numerous things wrong and charging you for it without prior consent to fix it. I do have a couple other cosmetic warranty issues that I will have them check at my 39K mile transmission service since I'll be there anyway...don't think I trust an indy shop for that service but I may change my mind since I can save $100!

My chrome bezel was peeling and it WAS replaced under warranty. I also had a recent issue after a service where my driver's seat side plastic had a crack. The dealership is also replacing that under warranty.

It's good to know that it was a warranty issue. I probably jumped the gun by buying the bezel online but it was only $28. I guess I'll tell my SA about it and see if they can just provide the labor to replace it since I already have the part, saves them a few bucks.

Cup holder bezel replaced...by me!

Received my brand new perfect black bezel with chrome cupholder rings yesterday and replaced with instructions I found online. I am not very handy so this tells you how easy it is to replace. I'm happy that I did it myself and saved a trip down to the dealership. It cost $38 with shipping but probably the cheapest repair ever on a MB With my newfound confidence I am next going to try replacing the stock side lamp markers with smoked lamp markers, wish me luck.
