Anybody else bored with their C?

i am a little bored already too but this is a great car, its just lacking something. i had one of the first 2006 civic si and that car was the total package, as far as having that fun to drive factor. almost think my c is too refined. faster than lots of cars but doesnt feel like it... we also have a 2011 jeep gc overland and it is incredible! its my wifes daily driver but i drive as much as possible. you can see and feel mb's influence except the hemi v8 which is pure usa muscle!
I would go for the six banger as it still puts out a respectable 300 + hp. (Same as my 2006 ML 500.)

I am so close to converting to that Jeep GC overland! What color is your wife's? I would probably go for silver bc I've seen how shoddy black paint can get in a short amount of time. Throw a push bar, some light guards and steel rims on it and MAN it would be a beauty

Not bored of it, but wondering if I should've gotten a second hand s5 or new a5 instead for the same price.

Sorry to hear that... also a full time grad student and work full time - I'm in my capstone and bought a 2010 for myself as a graduation present (not really, just wanted a dependable sedan and got a great deal)... I hope I don't get bored as well. All I'm really going to do to it is put on a anti-sway bar kit and that it... maybe use it in a couple of years to get into a CLS 550...
I don't want to get rid of it because I'm bored, I want to get rid of it because of the name. I don't like having this expensive, high-class stuff; I don't have that much money and I'm a full time grad student with a part-time job so I don't deserve such an elegant car. I want a small car that gets me from point A to point B, but safe. I got it not only because of the great deal that I got, but also to make my parents happy. After my lease is up, they can keep it and I can get my own little car that I don't have to keep shiny and classy looking every month.
...while I have it though, I love it.

If you have any appreciation and enjoyment of the quicker response feel offered by BMW steering and handling, upgrading the antisway bars moves the C Class in that direction quite a bit, without any noticeable deterioration in ride quality. The roll reduction also objectively improves handling.
I am more than delighted with the effect of the Eibach front and rear bars. But, anyone planning to do the same should realize that the front is fairly quick and easy, but the rear requires dropping the subframe, exhaust, removing calipers, etc....figure about 3 hours of professional labor. But, the improvement!
P.S. Not "sway" bars......anti-sway bars!! And, ideally they are replaced in pairs, so the relative chassis balance fore/aft is maintained.

its human nature. If you bought the C63, I'm sure you would be bored eventually. Human boredom is what fuels this economy. One can only buy the most technological car to not get bored with. the more features a car has, the more time it takes to get bored with it. When I first got the C, I just sat in the car sometimes to play around with the Comand, until I eventually found out there wasnt much to do on the screen.

I wish all US citizens would become bored & lift your economy out of the doldrums & give relief to the 20% that live under the poverty line.
IMHO any one that is bored with this C Class must be bored with life.

It's a great car...superb even but it does have some flaws as any car does. For me it seems like it's trying to be a sport and luxury sedan while not exactly accomplishing either. It's the car equivalent of a "dual purpose" motorcycle (not great on the highway and no dirt machine either) Better seats would make a world of difference to me, sport seats with higher bolsters that keep you from sliding around in aggressive cornering! The enging sounds sporty and this car has good acceleration but when I try pushing it in the curves I'm constantly reminded that the seats suck. They're ok for everyday driving and great for long trips but not for sporty driving. I could keep this car forever or trade it tomorrow, I go back and forth on that decision. Truth is right now there's nothing out there that appeals that much to me (in my price range) so I'll keep the C. Maybe I'll install velcro on my seat and design a jacket with velcro so I stay in my seat when cornering

LMFAO! You can't be serious. You're relating overall pleasure in life to someone's satisfaction/dissatisfaction with MB's entry level sedan. Like I said "you know, this SL63 Black Series is great but I'm just bored with it now."
What a joke

My car is about 4 weeks old and I get a little bored of driving an automatic, and not particular to the C, it could be any auto transmission car. I've always thought driving a manual transmission was more fun. (But I do love my car still )
