Anyone seen this yet? Decent spy pic of the refreshed interior. This is from the coupe but I'd assume the sedan will get same interior.

I agree. It also stays clean if you keep it closed when you don't need it.
I know they are into the way of doing it as in the picture, but I also liked the retractable screen. It really surprised people that an OEM would have something cool like that.

Looks good other then the buttons, way to many and it looks outdated like the w203. Shifter knob looks pretty bad as well. But I love the extra thick steering wheel and it looks like they may be covering the dash with faux leather?

The dashtop is obscured by a loose dash cover. They always use those in test cars so that when the car is parked, snoopers can't get a picture.
I actually like it BUT we wont get half of those buttons and switches in the US market, there will just be 2 or 3 randomly placed silver buttons under the radio, it will look awful.

like the steering wheel but don't like the buttons on center console/audio control...
shift knob looks bad too..but the new command control knob is pretty interesting..

I like it. I like the steering wheel and the nav screen. I don't like the odd blank gap between the nav screen and the far right gauge. The binder in the center console says C 204?

That could well be correct. It's certainly 204. The test models running here, as I've reported before, have their interiors well covered up. If they get the fit & finish right it's definitely an improvement. I still want to see what's going on with the tail lights that are heavily covered on test cars.
Definetly takes some styling cues from the E-Class.
The C is in much need of an interior revamp. It would be beneficial to MB for the 2012 C Class to recieve

- Standard leather upholstery (including dash + doors + center storage)
- A built in 8 inch or 10 inch color multi-media screen. The retractable is nice, but its more of a "wow it looks like something from transformers" rather then practical.
- New Command System as found in the E with updated Nav system.
- More choices for trims and larger usage of trims on the dash (eg. poplar, maple, walnut, piano black etc) Aluminum is cheap.
- Revamp the Keyless-Go button to something smaller, perhaps add the 3 pointed star as the insignia of the button.
- Nappa Leather steering wheel and shifter should be standard.
- Your cup holders should have a 'slider' to close and open like the AMG 6.3 and European models do.
- 2 choices of seating: Comfort seats and Sport Seats (AMG or Recaro). Mercedes makes great seats, but doesn't always offer the choice to pick.
- Bring back the Tri-Zone Climate as in the '08 and '09 models. Back seat passengers should have independant climate regardless if this is an entry-level luxury sedan.
Furthermore, vegetarians like myself prefer plastic.

However, my main point is that more expensive cars from Mercedes don't have leather standard.
