C300 side moldings... gone!
A matter of an hour, a small hair dryer, and some length of fishing line; my car looks multiple times better, imo.
My advice, slowly work the fishing line behind the molding and get the plasti-chrome pieces off first, than go back over the foam tape with the hair dryer and roll the tape off slowly. It's heat activated, so it takes a small amount of heat and it'll roll right off.
A small bit of sticker remover, and you're done.
Simple and free mod with great results
(sorry for the low res iPhone pics... one day I'll bust out the DSLR)

I'll be leaving the rest of the molding around the windows, I like that accent, and it'll stand out with the wheels I'll be installing soon.
hope you guys like it!

The car looks a lot better and cleaner too. iLL do mine this weekend.
Did the heat gun help? What did you use to remove any remaining adhesive? I used goo gone
I actually used a can of "Lift Off 2". It's a bit more potent than Goo Gone, but still won't hurt the paint like Goof Off, or some other, more acidic goo removers.
I live 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City, I can see the city from my roof lol
Where are you in Jersey?
Walked out to the car today and I'm so glad I took the time, looks real good!
I'm from monmouth county. Englishtown to be exact. If you're ever in the area lemme know

And local isn't really local seeing as how you're a solid hour and a half from me hahaha. But yeah I know there's car shows sometimes in AC like at the hotels and stuff right?
A very good friend of mine lives in the Toms River area, that's local too

Definitely agree!

Sounds like it's time for a new thread
