You have to remove the centre air nozzles first. Then release the radio from the top. You have to be careful with the nozzles, why not the radio too, better find some illustrated instructions. If you are from the US, you can download WIS instructions from startekinfo.
Can you explain why do you want to remove it?

If you're asking about the DIY I posted, no it isn't.
But it seems as though it'll get you on your way, and from what I understand, from the bottom of the screen down, the rest of the center stack is the same idea, just different internals. The navi screen is all tucked away up in the top pocket above the air vents.
EDIT- check this out as well. This is pretty relative to what you're asking about.
DIY Amp/Sub Install
I was going to come in and say, search the forums, but it also is helpful to just get the answers when you're new here. A lot of topics have been covered many times, and are easy to find as well. Just need the right key words.
Good luck!

You should tell more about your car before that can be answered. Do you have Sound System audio (I guess comes with MM in the US)? If yes, the head unit would be connected with fibre to the OEM amplifier, you cannot plug the aftermarket amp from the front. If you do not have sound system audio, the head unit would have standard speaker outputs.

yea it hast he hardon kamon system? ok so you know say you put an aftermarket head unit in a car and you install a aftermarket amp ...and you need to run that little blue wire to the head unit and connect it to the blue wire on there to give the amp a signal...i need to know which wire on the factory harness/connector is that little blue wire

If you mean the amp activation signal, you could likely use the antenna control signal. But since you have to feed copper from the front for the audio signals from the new head unit to the new amplifier anyway, why not install this blue wire at the same time?
