Thanks! They actually installed the wheels without the TPMS sensors so now I get an error code on the dash. I'll have to call TireRack tomorrow to see if they can recommend a solution. Still not clear as to why the original sensors won't fit...

2012 C350 Coupe
Hey guys, I'm planning to get VMR V710s 19" on my Coupe (I know this is the sedan forum, but everything should be similar). The sizes are:
Front: 19"x8.5" ET 45
Rear: 19"x9.5" ET 45

VMR recommended 225/35/19 and 255/30/19 for my tires. But I had Conti DWS in mind and they dont make any A/S tires that size too. So VMR suggested 235/35/19 and 265/30/19, but they can't guarantee filment with this size. I looked through all the pages of this thread and there was one member that had the same question as me but no one answered his question. So I'm re-asking it, will there be any filment/rubbing problem with the 235/35 and 265/30 setup? The whole package is going to be around $2300 so I don't want to order it and have some problems arise.

Oh and down the line, if I'm not satisified about the ride height, I might go with H&R sport springs. Will there be any problems?

With an ET45 front and rear, you should clear, but may rub with different style tires. Most have recommended thinner brands such as the falken 452's and sumitomo. They have a rounder shoulder than other tires, I believe nitto invo's also have a nice round shoulder to clear the fenders. I am running et 42F/48R slight rubbing in the front with Falken 452's. I'm lowered on H&R C/O's. 25 inches TDC fender to ground all around with a -.80 camber all around. Not sure if I typed the camber reading right, but I'm under a full degree of angle. I rub minimal with just me driving in certain dips, but when the car is full, almost all corners rub minimal on dips or humps but acceptable. At this point there is no apparent tire damage from the rubbing, so that is very very minimal rubbing.

I need some advice, my wheels are way to aggressive for my car with the h&r super sport lowering spring, what should I do change out the lowering springs to sport or negative my camber,it rubs like crazy with one person in the back...

Thanks! I'm just on the stock ride height. Considering H&R Sports though, I feel like I need to close the tire gap just a bit ...

BTW, lots of love for the LM-style on this page!

You need to go with tires that aren't as wide. Try a 225 up front and a 245 I. The rear. I'm running the same wheel specs and I run a 215/35 front and 235/35 rear

45 front and rear but the 5mm up front is negligible. I'm also as low as I can go on coilovers so I have more camber than stock height which helps me clear my fenders

I'm going to try your setup and see what happens,I guess I can just transfer the front wheels to the back and purchase some new ones for the front, this sucks I can even carry on person in the back without full rub

Look at the first post. That is 205 on a 9 and a 215 on a 10.5! Never once had a problem and my car was a heck of a lot faster then a W204 and handled way better.

CleanBenz on the picture you posted of your vehicle looks as if your rims are tucked in your fender, but if we are on the same off set why my does my rim poke out beyond the fenders I'm on 40 and 45

LOADED 08' C350 & 14' GLK-350 Diamond White (P1, MM, AMG Pkg, Ln Trkng, Htd Sts, Keylss Go)
Hi, I just installed H&R Super Sport Springs on my 2008 w204 c350 sport with stock 18" AMG wheels, and I changed the rear spring pad to only 5mm.

Now, what do all you pros here recommend for Spacers that will make the OEM wheels look more flush?

I would not want to rub with spacers, and would like the car to drive as close to stock as possible.... Thanks in advance for your help!

Another wheel swap question

All right, I need some help figuring out of this possible new wheel and tire set will fit my car with no additional modifications. I have an 09 W204 with the stock wheels with the following size specs;

Front 17X7.5 (47mm offset), tires are 225/40/17

Rear 17X8.5 (58mm offset), tires are 255/40/17

I'm thinking about buying a set of wheels from a member here but want to make sure they will fit without rubbing.

Front 19X8.5 (32mm offset), tires are 245/40/19

Rear 19X9.5 (41mm offset), tires are 275/35/19

From the looks of it, the wheels will stick out about an inch or so to the outside and about a 10th of an inch to the inside.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks
