What would be the optimum offset required?
I think mid to low 40's

Does anyone know if the C63 has wider front fenders than the regular C because these are the specs for the wheels I want and I want to make sure that they will be fine. Everyone keeps saying that the 19x8.5 +35 will NOT work for the W204 but apparently it does according to this guys car if the info is correct and the fenders are the same width.

I used the calculator on 1010.tires and it says that going from 7.5W +47 offset stock to 8.5W +35 offset will be 1mm closer to the strut and 25mm out towards the outer edge of the fender. .95 inches. The rears are money but the fronts are what I'm worried about. Does anyone know who's car this is? I'm going to be running 235/35/19 in the front too. Thanks.

18x8 +30 all around.. lowered on H&R sports.

Willing to roll fenders. Will it fit?

Pretty sure that 30 isn't going to fit. It's going to stick out more than a 1/2 inch past the fender in the front and enough to look rediculous in the rear especially lowered. Unless you are going for that look. If you are past the fender there's no point in rolling anything. There isn't much to roll there anyway. Most people trim.

NP. I know because I have been searching for wheels for some time. When I get time tomorrow I'm going to go through the hassle of figuring out what the hub to fender measurement is so it's easier to calculate how flush or poke certain rims are. I'm tired of guessing.

Thoughts?

I am looking into the Petrol Fausts in 19", they only offer 2 sets of offsets and I am not sure if both will work:

Option 1 -

19 x 8.5 ET 32
19 x 9.5 ET 35

Option 2 -

19 x 8.5 ET 42
19 x 9.5 ET 52

I can save $400 going with Option 1 but I am not so sure it would work, I don't want to rub and I am lowered with H&R Super Sports.

I am almost 100% Option 2 will work but was concerned the offset difference between the front and back might not look right, plus I would think 52 in the rear would not line up well with the fenders. I like a flush stance, if not even a little wide. I guess I could go option 2 and use a slight spacer in the rear.

Here is what I am looking at:

Mikedaman........your post would be 1000% more helpful to everyone if you posted the offsets for your set up front and rear. That is the single most important bit of information given our cars have such high offsets. Anything lower than +35-+40 in the front is pushing it and it seems like you are pretty close to that. I like your set up by the way. Those lips are nice. I like your exhaust outlets. Are those just for looks or are they welded to the mufflers if you have any?

the offset front is 45 and the rear is 52, i got my wheels custom fitted original offset was 35 front and 40 rear.. my suggestion is just get the wheels you really like and find local custom wheel shop that can drill holes or shave the back of the hub to make it work... i know the w204 have a high offset to begin with.

the exhaust do work..

I measured and the stock hub to outer fender edge is 2.75" or 69.85mm (70mm). Then if you want to split hairs even more the fender lip is .25 or so which is 6.35mm so just to be on the safe side in order to clear the inner portion of the fender for the fronts you would need to use 63mm as the hub to fender measurement to tuck with no problems.

So what was your final offset for the front after you modified your wheels by shaving (?mm) off the mounting surface?

http://www.jonathanrowny.com/page/offset-calculator

Use this calculator to figure it out and then let me know how close it is to what you actually see on your car. Did you trim your front fenders?

Awesome thanks guys, do you think running 42 in the front and 52 in the rear will look good, just seems the offsets are pretty far apart.

Should I put maybe a 5mm spacer in the rear or just leave it. I want a flush look with the fenders, maybe even a wide stance.

Stock offset for the C63 rims are +42F and +54R and they should sit pretty flush on a regular C Class. That's what I decided to get instead of getting low offsets and messing with it. I might get some spacers but I'm going to wait and see how they look.

Checking to ensure no tire rub

Looking at this setup....any experience out there? I've been reading throug TONS of forums.....here's the setup

2009 C300 Sport
Mandrus Manheim
19x8.5 +43 offset
19x9.5 +53 offset

looking at going with H&R Super Sports and 235/35ZR19 fronts and 275/30ZR19 in rear....am I gonna have problems with the rears scrubbing even with the high offset?

Appreciate the responses
