I was thinking they could probably take off more, but I'll see what the shop says. There is a lot of meat on the center hub on the inside. I went w/ a 275 rear with the Hankook V12's. I kinda wish I went w/ a 265, but I had read that the Kooks run a little narrow. Oh well. Now I just have to get under there and see how much room I have so I don't start rubbing on the inside.

I guess each shop have different ideas of safety. When I had the Iforged's the guy would not allow me to remove too much due to safety issues. But also at 30+ et's the hub would be thicker than a 45et. I am not sure what the thickness would be sufficient to handle curb weight and the standing weight of our cars.

So I just picked up some 20's on c-list, I don't think I like them as much as I thought I did. They are not staggered and I believe they should be. 20"x 7.5 all the way around. I got them fir a deal but I'm more than likely going to sell them before the end of the summer or spring!

Something about that red made those wheels pop, but they still look real nice on your ride. some MB center caps & spacers to push em out a little would complete the look.

Well I already ordered the center caps, as far as the spacers go, since the wheels are so skinny I'm gonna leave'em like that and perhaps replace the wheels in back with a wider pair, that is if I even keep these. Most def it was the red that makes those wheels "jump". Got the entire set plus wheels for $900, can't beat that though.

Well, I went by America's tire today to see if they can get my TPMS working, they didn't, but I told the sales guy there that my rear passenger tire is rubbing and was thinking I should have gone with a 265 instead of the 275 and he said I can return them and get the 265s and they would pro-rate it based on mileage. I'm gonna try that & since I have put minimal mileage on the tires I should get almost full credit towards the 265s and since they would be cheaper anyway it should almost be a wash. I was kinda skeptical about messing with the integrity of the rim. What I don't get is why is one side rubbing and the other not? Could going from 17s to 19s throw of the cast/camber? I wouldn't think so since the overall diameter is almost the same, but I don't know for sure. Any one have any input on this?

They might work with different tire sizes. 235/35 front, 255/30 rear?

Check out this thread. His wheel specs are very close to your wheel specs.

I'm thinking this would be a very very tight fit. The ET upfront is too aggressive with those tires.. you may get away with 225's, or 215's but the 215's are not weight specific to our cars. The rear's ET is also aggressive but you may be able to squeeze in 265's stretched. With your current specs you will rub in all corners even on stock height. If you like the POKE look (pass the fenders) then this setup will give you that. You may want to double check with JimmytheGreek. He's the guru...

Be the first to make it work

But I tell you right now it won't be easy.

You have to shave or roll (preferably roll) your rear fenders. Heat gun any tire friction points on your fender liner. With a 45 offset you have to run stretched tires... like a 255/30.

You also have to shave or roll your front fenders. If you want to stick with wide tires and don't want the stretched look the only solution is too pull your fenders and repaint them if you don't want damaging it especially if you decide to go lower.

are you lowered or stock height? If stock height you need
225/30/20 up front w +35
255/25/20 out back w +40
you cannot clear w 30 profile out back w a 40 offset. maybe w 45 offset. u must use a skinny brand tire either way. 20's are no good for w204s too much a pain w tires and $$$

stock height only. lowered u will not clear up front no matter what unless u stretch and poke. out back u can make it lowered w a 255/30/19 w a +45mm offset

Thx for answer Jimmy,
it's stock height and the wheels are old from other car,
i have 245/30/20 i plannend for the back and buy new one's in front 225/30/20 but it is stretched in the back, I think I can live with that but not with rubbing, I can let shaved the wheels to +45 for 10x20 and +40 for 8,5 x20

they looks good under the car, i was hoping there are more whit this offsett
