Last question I swear,

I made up my mind to go with AMG 836 replica wheels from power wheels pro;
19x8.5 (F) and 19x9.5 (R), offset 42mm all around.

Currently I have OEM wheels; 225/45/17 fronts and 245/40/17 rear
Rim sizes: 7.5x17 (F) and 8.5x17 (R), Offsets; 47-58.

Question is which tires to get, these are the options; 235-35-19 (F), 265-30-19 (R)
Second option ,which I would prefer if it would fit, is; 245-35-19 F and 275-30-19

With OEM wheels/tires I have about 15 mm extra tire extending over wheel on each side to protect it from the curb. With first setup describe above, I would have about 10 mm on each side. With second setup I would have about 15mm.

Question is would the wider tires fit, would they rub, would they extend past fender or be flush?

Thanks.

I would go with 235/35 and 265/30 as these are closest to stock circumference,
its impossible to beforehand say how much the tire will extend as it depends on the rim shape and tire make.

Does anyone think this set up will work on my 2009 C300? I am a bit skeptical myself about it but wanted to get a second opinion.

Lowered on H&R Super Sports

Front: 20x9 245/30/20 ET45
Rear: 20x10.5 285/25/20 ET44

I can change up the tire size but my main concern was if the wheels width and offsets would be possible

Thanks

Thanks! I got it from MCD Motorsports a while back...the style is kinda similar to Vorsteiner. Check out ebay or call MCD. Not sure if they still carry them though. Hope that helps

I just bought this combo. Got a killer deal even if the tires don't work out. My car is not lowered. Will I have a shot in hell getting these to work?

Should work perfectly fine. Rear tires are a bit wide if you do get it lowered though.

K. Sold the pirellis. Should I go with 225/35/19 fronts on the car? 19x8.5 +35 fronts.

If your car is lowered, 225/35 might not be enough stretch due to the +35 offset.

What happened when you tried the 255/35 in front? I'm curious because I've thought about running a 255/35 square setup for my next set of wheels.

Kind of what I was thinking. I'm about to purchase H&R supersports and am thinking the 215/35's just to be on the safe side. If I end up doing that I may have to resort to 235/35 on the rear just to make it look right in comparison. I only drove the car about 100 miles to test. It rubbed on the big stuff but I drove it very carefully. I've had worse honestly but would not advise that particular fitment one bit. I'm really stuck on this decision...

215/35/19
235/35/19

Or

225/35/19
265/30/19

Car Will be lowered on 19x8.5 et35 / 19x9.5 et48 just to recap.

H&R SS + your wheel specs + 215 & 235 tires would look very similar to this car:

Yeah after hours of research I ran into that car. He runs +35 all around. I've ran 235's on a 10 before and it wasn't that stretched at all. I think I'll go with the smaller setup for now just to be on the safe side. I really wish I could run the bigger set with no issues.

One other option is to shave 5 mm off the inner hub of the front wheels. I think you can run 225s up front on a 8.5" wheel with +40 offset. Proceed at your own risk though!

Looked into this but it's labor intensive, $100 per wheel and in the event of naturally occurring damage to a front upon replacement, quick replacement would not be an option. Good to point out though.
