It will not rub ONLY if you run the right size tires BUT If you drop it you will have to buy special tires that are 300+ each only Nitto (i think) makes them in 20" in that size. Honestly hotelcrazy, theres only 3 W204's Ive seen that are on 20's and are tucked right, and look right. Its alot of rim for this car and then you HAVE to run 25 out back to clear and 30 up front, they are rubber bands bro. Pair that with a drop and you kill the driveability of the car, and I beleive from reading ur posts its ur girls car mainly, she may kill you. Im running 19s w 40offset up front 8.5 on 235/35/19 and 45offset out back w 10 rears on 275/30/19 and the ride is rough dropped a half inch all the way around. I wouldnt dream of going 20s, I had 18s on my last C dropped w sports and it was 35mm offset all around and I could only clear w 255/30/18 out back and it was rough, I bent 2 wheels on pot holes being stretched like that. How much r u looking to spend and what style? I got 3 sets of shoes 2 sets are 10 rears and black Im gonna sell the one set soon

THose will clear ONLY w a 275/25/20 at stock ride height ONLY. If you drop you will have to run 255/25/20 maybe 245/25/20. You cant run 30 on 20" rears on a w204 w that offset. The Vossens are bad *** wheels, pricey tho. what makes u wanna run 20's? U dont think its too much wheel for the W204 body or R u planning on droppin it, I think I read that a few pages back? dropping it changes everything w wheels specs....

Ill pm u pics and info 2moro from work. what year is your C?

yeah but he has diff offsets and hes running a 25 rear, you posted 30 w the 20s you wanted thats the difference. Im answering your questions based on the info you post, you CANNOT clear w 30s on 20" wheels unless you have a high offset and skinny tires. you being on SS changes that as well. I just ordered my 4th set of wheels, I got ALOT of experience with offsets/tire size, I change wheels just about every weekend on my car

That will work according to my math, seems like you could clear w 285s as well in a skinny brand tire with a 55 in back. Remember that different brands are different sized slightly. With a 35 offset out back my 18s w 255/35 wont clear unless they are falken or sumitomos. Had a set of nexens as emergencies on a blow out and they rubbed in the same size as the previous falkens that cleared. You will be good w the 275/25 will look nice and wide not too pokey, just the stance you're lookin for. Nice choice on wheels too BTW

Thats crazy! Thanks for all the help man, good to know...i dont know as much about fitment on these cars as i do VQ platforms (G35/350z's) I think Frank said a 285 would not work and rub, i would have to find it again, but a 275 is a pretty fat tire for this car!

yeah im running a 275/30 w 19s on a 10" rear and its fat, couldnt clear w 285 when I test fit it. You'll be good w 275 tho cause the stretch matches the 8.5 with a 235. post up the pics when u got them on, Ur G looks sweet been checkin out the stance thread u got goin

A good reference for most other cars is www.rimtuck.com to check out other peoples specs...nothing on there for C300, maybe we should contribute!

Is there a pic of your car in this thread? And what brand tires are you running? And are you lowered? Rolled fenders or anything? Sorry I know it probably is in here somewhere but this thread has gotten pretty big. I'm going to be running the same size rim but was told to do a 255 or a 265 with a small tread with so was thinking general as3 in a 265/30/19

somewhere on the forum theres pics, change wheels alot tho. The 10s im running lately are +45 offset in rear, 275/30/19 clears slightly lower than stock. The offset is what dictates what tire u can run, not the width. Peeps squeeze 245s on 10" rears super stretched, its what look you want. Hotel went with +55 offset cause hes on supersports, he needs to be in a little more than me cause hes looooooow, i can do +45 cause im baby squatting. Post ur wheel info F and R and be aware that all tires arent the same, some run skinnier than others.....and I also am a big beleiver of QUALITY tires, I see guys spend 4k on wheels and grab achilles and I dont know what name tires, its ridiculous. They are inferior brands, and will lead to a bent rim or blow out and then its pain in the *ss time and headaches to save 200 bucks.........not me, been there done that in my noob days

Well I not lower yet but planning on some coilovers I told Rennen I was lowered so they told me they were going with about a 55 offset and I agree with you on the tires. Not a fan of the stretch. Wanted mich pilot a/s 275 but was told they rub so decided on conti dws 265/30/19 but was also told they might rub cause they have a 11.1 tread width so now I'm having to change my plans. Cause the rims are still two weeks or so out I can't test fit so I'm stuck asking and trying to get pics so I can see what it looks like. On top of that I have to go to the dealership to get the tires put on and they have to order them not stocked. I'm on the tires for life plan so once I get the right size I will be set.
