Man, your car is clean. So glad you posted. (even late to the party in this old thread) I read this entire thread and have a stack of notes. Almost every car in this thread is a sedan and I really don't know if the fitment would be near the same for sedan/coupe. (I have a sedan but its staying stock/my kid drives it) I just picked up a 2013 C350 Coupe, and have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out the exact offset of wheels to order as I don't want to mess with spacers etc. and i want to lower also. You solved my dilema for the most part. Did you use HR Spring Kit 52794-3 which is 1.2"/1.0" lowering? Camber kits or stock alignment? Thanks again.

I’m thinking about 2 setups and need advise on one.
First one is
18x8.5 et45 w/235/40r18
18x9.5 et45 w265/35r18

second one is
18x9 et42 235/40r18
18x10 et45 265/35r18

i know the first will fit but the second? I’m on H&R springs and putting in 9mm rear pads. Right now I have 18x8.5 et52 amg rims in the rear with 255/35 tires and a 5mm pad and it’s fairly close to the inner quarter panel. I’m looking for a flush like fit with no rubbing. I don’t mind if there is a tiny bit of “poke” with the wider setup. Will I have to roll the quarter and fenders? Thanks. Might go lower in the future but not determined if I will.

Posting because I never saw an offset this low until i tried it - 19x8.5 ET25 on 225/35/19, 19x9.5 ET30 on 245/35/19. Stock Sport suspension.

The rear, where it's rubbing almost on every bump is 255/35 ZR 19 I'm not sure of the offset, how can I find out?

I bought the car with the wheels and tires already on it and like the profile

If you remove the wheel, it’ll be on the inside lip. For reference, my wheels are 19x9.5 ET30 in the rear, and when i bought them they had 275/30/19 on them. Rubbed even on SMALL dips. Instead of selling them i swapped the tires from 275/30 to 245/35 and now they only rub on deep dips at high speed, usually only on the highway when i hit a bridge or something. If you’re rubbing, either drop the tire size, or roll the fenders.

Time for my $0.02 on this thread...
I have spent the last few weeks perusing different sections but it proved just too much to read the entire thread. Nevertheless, I finally found the perfect combination for me so I figured I'll share.

2013 C300 4matic Sport
Wheels: Brabus Monoblock R 18x8.5

Front:
Offset ET 40
Tires: Continental DWS 06+ 235/40/18
Suspension: stock

Rear:
Offset ET 45
Tires Continental DWS 06+ 265/35/18
Suspension: Brabus springs, 9mm spring pads

As it sits, it sounds like I might have miniscule rubbing in the front on the plastic liner by the bumper bolt. Extremely minor on hard dips - not bothersome at all. No rubbing in the rear at all. Handling feels very solid with no noticeable understeer or excessive tracking

Prior setups:
1). Same as above with ET 45 in front and ET 40 in rear: lots of rubbing in rear, no rubbing in front.

2) Square setup on 235/40/18
Front: ET 45
Rear: ET 40
No rubbing at all but rear tires looked too tucked in and fender gap made rear tires look smaller, even though they were all the same size

3) Square setup on 245/40 /18
Front: ET 45
Rear: ET 40
Killer looks but rubbing on all four corners - became very annoying. Car also tracked a lot and had significant understeer.

Anyone know what bolt size I need for Vossen vfs2 on 2010 C300?

Update: called Vossen and they said 14x1.5x30mm lug bolts.

I'm gonna miss my Niche m149 (top). Bent the front right wheel and this anthrecite color is discontinued. Luckily found a decent set of Vossen vfs2 also 19s. I think +44 or +45 front and +55 rears.

Old Thread resurrection alert!
Having spent 5 days and read through 1860 posts on 75 pages, I am more confused than I was earlier.
With the CLS, I could go into single digit offsets and 305's at the rear needed a spacer.
With the W204 (2012 C250), well...
40% of posts say yay.
40% of posts say nay
20% of posts say maybe

So before being called out...I did use the search function, and I did go through the ENTIRE thread...and very interesting it was too!

Will a 9.5X19 ET45 with either a 265/30 or a 275/30 fit the rear, ON STOCK SUSPENSION. NO LOWERING NOW OR EVER.
Tires will be either MPS4's or CSC5's
The roads I drive on are abhorrent, and will almost never carry anyone in the rear.
Fronts are 8.5X19 ET42 with either 225/35 or 235/35.
My current stocks are twin spoke 17's with 225/45 CSC5's.

I am an older guy so no poke, F&F style cambers, rubbing anything...or Stretch...!

I definitive answer will be HUGELY Appreciated!!
And much cheer for the Holidays

With no suspension mods. Most definitely lol

Zero rubbing tho with that being my drive height. Took a lot of trial and error to get it too fit but wasn’t too bad with fully adjustable suspension. Front fenders are rolled. Rear fenders are rolled/pulled. Tires are stretch 215/35 235/35

Hello, looking at getting these wheels for my 2013 C300. Please let me know if 18x8J ET35 will stick out to far. I want a flush look and was told this ET will stick out about 1/2” pass the fender. Stock suspension and possibly will lower the car in the future. Any help is appreciated.
