Costco windshield wipers fit?
Hey Guys,
I got a great deal on Goodyear brand windshield wipers at costco, they are the same new style wiper blade that came with the W204 and they are only $8.
Problem is that I can get it to fit properly on my car, has anyone else gotten it to fit? It appears that the adapter that connects the wiper to the wiper arm is too narrow & allows for some movement, any help would be appreciated.

lol, buy the OEM wipers through parts.com. Much cheaper than the dealer and guaranteed to fit. People always try to find the cheapest way out, but they always end up going back to OEM wipers.

My Costco carries the Goodyear Assurance blades which include adapters whice are supposed to be compatable with all OEM applications. From what I have read, these are supposed to be as good, if not better, than Bosch Icon, etc.
Anyone else get these to work or does "compatable" just mean you can get it on the car but it doesn't really have to work well....

Nothing wrong with trying to save money unless that means buying poor quality.

Late to the game though I am I thought I'd add my 2 cents-worth. I bought some Goodyear Assurance yesterday at Costco and no, they will NOT fit. I tried everything and then I called Goodyear Customer service. They told me that the reference book in Costco is wrong and that they will not fit the 2009 C300.

Mercedes made a mid-year update to the C300 in early 2009. For models with chassis serial numbers from A249323, F287191, or R068488 (the last seven digits of your VIN), the Goodyear Assurance Wiper blades from Costco will fit. They may not, however: fit the 2008 and early 2009 models.
FYI, these blades are not actually made by Goodyear. They are manufactured by Saver Automotive Products, Inc. in Baltimore, MD under license from Goodyear.
I purchased and installed these blades and they are a perfect fit. They are on sale at Costco through the end of the month for $5 each. Check out the link below for installation instructions.
