Rear View Camera Installer in Southern California

Hi folks,

I have a 2009 C300 with the factory 7" Navigation. While there is a lot of good DIY information on the forums on how to install rear view cameras yourself, I'm not adventurous (or smart) enough to attempt my own install.

I was curious if anyone here had theirs install professionally and what the cost was. I can purchase all of the parts myself, but need some assistance in the install. Any input would be appreciated.

Just look through the info on how to activate the option through COMMAND... Once you have that info, just take it to Bestbuy or any other place that installs car electronics. That's what I did I think they charged $70 for the install

Check out with Joe (Rocco's auto tech 949-722-0707) in Costa Mesa. He used OEM parts, but cost a lot less than MB dealer. He also did SDS after the installations (just like MB dealer). Keep us post to see how it turn out if you decide to go with Joe.

While I enjoy shopping at Best Buy for electronics, I'm not sure I'm comfortable taking my car there for an install.

Do you know how much Joe charges? I'll put in a call with him later in the week, but wasn't sure if folks here have an idea of cost?

Roccos handles all of our tech retrofits here at my dealership and they are amazing. We have never had anybody ask for a RVC retrofit so I am unsure as to what they cost but we have never had an issue with his work.

Anyone have a contact on the east coast (MD/DC area) for this? Appreciate it.

Joe at Rocco's retrofit a Sirius tuner on my 09 C300 a year and a half ago and I couldn't be happier. Definitely recommend it.

$700??? I hope you're not serious. It's not that hard to install.

Let me know if you find a good deal. Depending on the price, I might be interested as well.
