just got a 2010 c300 sport withOUT multimedia package. but it does have an ipod wire in the glove box. i plugged my ipod in and it says connected to mb and it starts to charge so i know it has power. many have said it does not display to the center radio lcd but only to the cluster lcd. how do i put the radio in aux or whatevr i have to do to get the ipod to play

i read somewhere that i need to go through the settings somewhere to change to aux??? how? where? why? manual is not helping

I have the MM package but for me you change the input under the audio menu just like you would to go to CD. Do you have an audio menu?

Here are some shots... You access these screen with the media knob on the center armrest console.

The first pic shot TWO important items, on the left where the AUX is activated, AND that you should set the "Volume" to BOOST.

The second image is how the radio should look with the AUX input activated.

iPod - set volume at "8" and EQ (equalization) on the iPod on "POP"

maverick there is no audio menu. there is only a radio button which switches between fm am sat and weatherband, also i have a cd button. nothing for aux and no button is switching it to aux

Just had to press the DISC button as previous post No. 3 said. Glad your iPod is working, and remember to change iPod setting as per post No. 4.
