Are these the best HID kits for our car?

I have been browsing the forum and it appears there are a few options for HID lighting on our cars. I have looked around and these appear to be popular with a few members on here. I am looking for the best quality with the least amount of problems (i.e. error codes)

Looking to replace the low beams and fog lights, these seem a little pricey, what do you all suggest?

To both of you, are your vendors lights error code free?
Also, what does the installation consist of?
I read you have to take the whole front bumper off to access the headlights, but i took a look at them yesterday and it looks like all you have to do is pop the hood and take off the caps behind the headlight bulbs, correct or no?

you have an option of a 35w or 55w kit. I use the 55w kit bc it is brighter and with our cars we need the error canceler harness. total plus shipping is like 80+tax and with the installation simple plug and play. Pop the hood and just remove old bulbs and plug the new one and their is no cutting necessary.

they're plenty of different temps just check their temp chart. I am using 8000K and they look similar to an Audi look

just FYI.... by the look of that kit... U will have to drill and mod a little. those ballasts are huge.. and i doubt would fit directly into the headlight compartment and the bulbs..

maybe i am wrong on this one.. but I have worked on my brother's ML before.. and we had to mod.. and drill to make it work. AND of course they always make it sound so easy =P

We'll have our kits out hopefully within the next few weeks. We'll be offering 5000K and 8000K varieties and will be roughly $80. When you buy kits, you'll need an error canceller. Some kits will prepackage this with their kits, some you'll need to buy seperate. Whichever kit you decide with, I'd suggest 55w for your lows and 35w for your fogs.

I'm still hopeful for those D1S bulbs Mike! Seriously, driving last night in the rain was scary o_o I'm definitely switching back to stock for now.

all kits you buy are just plug and play but if your doing conversions or retrofitting then you will have to drill and mount.

i got my HID from DDM tuning as well, 35w 8000k bulbs, when installing i didnt need the error code eliminators, but many people on here did need them so get them to be safe.
