Need advice on buying mufflers.

Looks like I'll go with 11375 mufflers and 10790 x-pipe sometime this summer.
11375 has the same inlet/outlet pipe size as the original piping, and it's stainless steel instead of polished, so it's cheaper.

So Jimmy ur saying I should first buy the muffler then take it to the shop and see what piping we can work with? And I shouldn't buy a dual pipe but 4 single pipes?

what Im saying is if you want it to look like a C63 does, you cannot buy tips like that ready to go. You either have to settle for whatever is already premade like the ones I got, or you have to have them fabricated by an exhaust shop. I wanted to get mine on ASAP, I modded my car the day I got it, drove from the dealer to rim shop, then a day later tint shop, 4 days later to my bros body shop, ripped the interior out and a week on the system. I did teh exhaust there too. I didnt know what to expect so I did teh magnaflow tips for now, and now that I see what im up against Im gonna try and fab them up. Basically if you look at your bumper, the outside edge is curved, if you use whatever brand dual tips, the inside one is flush, the outside one has more tip exposed, the bumper is curved and shows more outside tip when looking down. Look at tanktubes exhaust and you see the staggered tip setup, same with the meisterschaft and eisenmann exhausts. Tanktubes is custom made, and most on here w dual setups had a pipe welded on with a tip added, the inside one is longer than the outside. I didnt think it would be too bad and it isnt, but Im super picky, I want my shi* perfect

Yup, Tanks are big pimpin, best Ive seen. He never said how much he paid but the guy at royal said 10-15 hours fab plus parts and powder coat

But he got what he paid for, the best tips on the board. He helped me with my exhaust alot. If your looking to go on the cheap just hack the stock exhaust, or do magnaflows with a stock type tip and live w it, like I am......for now. The muffler install is easy, the tips being made is the hard part, I went w a premade magnaflow tip. After doing the numbers, Im putting no more $$ into this exhaust. Im gonna remove the magnaflows soon and go meisterschaft, and sell the bolt on magnaflows to someone and save them the trouble of install now that theyre welded and strapped to fit w204. But if your looking for an exhaust for 500-1000 magnaflow is sweet, they sound good, and some guys did Xpipe and sounds badass like the expensive ones......

yeah I work in sussex county, live in morris. If you want decent work anyone w a hydro bender can do the job, if you want perfect KC is the place to go. He does highend work, depends on what you can live with. depends on what your trying to get done. search kcs custom exhaust and look at his website, got tons of photos of custom work, all exceptional
