i just ordered a set of 6000k d1s but i got no idea how to replace them. im attaching a pic of headlight unit from inside.
does anyone know how to release the light bulb?
I want to change the bulb in my ILS I want a different color than the yellow. Here’s the back of my headlight looks like there’s screws holding it in place and there’s no screw driver that could fit in there unless I tear the light apart. Seems crazy. ILS headlights c204 2015 Screw to the left appears to be holding bulb in place. How do I remove these screws. (Inside the housing)

Is 6000K stock? I thought most cars use 4300K. The higher the temp the bluer the light. It might look cool in the parking lot, but not driving down a dark road at night.
This is one of the better depictions of light effects at different temps.
03"c240 rewire drivers side headlight,main light housing
I own a 03' c240 4matic on the drivers side the wiring plastic melted and was a mess,now I have to hotwire my headlight to the battery just to have a little light. Has any one else have this same probably and had a solution would be helpful
If you are talking about the wiring that is inside the headlight housing itself i have seen two options. One is to replace the headlight housing. The other option is to replace the burnt wiring, take apart the housing and basically make a new harness in there then close the light back up.
