OK so looking at these wheels: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/300525348975
on 8.5" front and 9.5" rear do I need to run 235/35 up front and 265/35 in the back? Will it look "stretched"? (I really don't dig that look)
I have the AMG 18's right now and the rears are 8.5" rims and are wearing 255's, it seems like 235's would stretch a bit.
Thanks!

hahahaha something similar yep but I was stuck on 8" and 8.5" rim widths. I gave up on that b/c of the 35 offset. I'll look back at the other thread but I don't remember seeing this specific tire/wheel info...

235 35 19 on 8.5 and 265 30 19 on 9.5 is standard. It will be stretched a little. If you want a full sidewall like the old school muscle cars go up one size, 245 and 275. u have to run 35 front and 30 rear or it will be too big of a tire on the overall diameter

im running 10 inch rears with 40 offset in back 275/30/19 no rubbing. u gotta remember that the first number changes with the second number, so a 275/35 is skinnier. a 275/25 is fatter. get it? you will be fine if you like some meat. The dealers run 255 on 8.5 to try and help with curbing of wheels, more meat. I think its stupid cause any benz you ride close to the curb the rims are toast so whats the point? If I was you I would go with 235 and 265 on those. It makes the wheels look better, theres basically no stretch. Flush wheels like those look bigger, where dish wheels look smaller. I actually like those wheels alot, they are very factory looking. Theres alot of wheels in that price range with black trim if your looking to color code to the car

Will a wheel width of 9.5 and offset of 45 stick out past the fenders in the rear? I'm just looking through wheels since my top choice, Avant Garde M328, was discontinued, and 45 comes up a lot.
