Keep Comand Screen Closed with radio on
Is it possible to keep the screen closed but still have the radio on?

and....

Is there a way to black out the screen when it is on so I can clean it? It is somewhat difficult to clean it and see that your getting it clean with the unit on.

Just press one of the small button right beside the one to angle the ascreen to close the door. The radio will still run.

I know in my 2008 the first is possible you just have to hit the button to open/close the system (not the on/off button)

Excellent! Thanks so much everyone. I will go into hte parking garage right now and try it out.

Its funny, I am at work but keep going down to the garage to mess around with the new car! Can't get enough of it!

I know that feeling! just bought my first Benz last week, a C300, kept finding stupid reasons to go out driving to the store :P I was out of eye drops, oh i need a book stand, i need a new pair of shorts...
