All are good brands...be aware of Tein knock-offs. I have H&R super sports on my junk with 5mm pads in the rear.

What kind of wheels are you running? I just got back from my visit to Korea and honestly, unless you're in the countryside, roads there are fine enough that even a low drop won't' cause worries.

I'm currently running Eibachs with 5mm rear spring pads and I couldn't be happier. (Now if only I could get a decent alignment going).

I have H&R Sport Springs with 5mm pads i bought of Alex (snarlingchicken) couple of months ago. just got them installed last week; I like them but will probably change them out with Super Sports, just to go a little lower .

Thanks Alex!

to snarling, i'm running 235/35/19 and 255/30/19, any recommandations?
is 5mm spring pad a must have? or just better off to have?
i'm worried about the front, i realized the front tires hits the fender when i'm on high speed on bumpy highway.

so guys, if you were to get new lowering springs, would you get the one you are using right now? or try something else?

Nice to know the install went well Chris! What took you so long to put em on? I've been meaning to ask how it went! Haha. Looks like someone wants to be slammed though Did you get a new set of wheels already?

The 5mm pads are optional, as they only affect the rear in terms of a drop and give you about 8mm of additional lowering. Personally running 5mm pads and Eibachs, I think it looks great, but then again, I'm on stock 17"s (If anyone out there wants to hook a brother up *cough cough*).

But if you're tires are rubbing on the highway, I might urge you to maybe get new wheels or tires....what are your offsets and what kind of wheels are you running? I absolutely pray that you didn't buy wheels from those tire shops off the side of the road that carry knock-offs of BBS....

Anyways, if I had the option of going lower, I think it would depend on the wheels I had. Most likely I would just opt for a nice set of 18" Forgestars or something, and stick with my Eibach's, but more than likely, if I opted for a set of 19"s, I would see if I could hold out for a set of coilovers.

Super Sports and call it a day. The drop to Sport is pretty mild.

Maybe not slammed... haha but somewhere along the lines of being pretty low.
I just got my wheels about a week ago and before then, i decided to wait till before the wheels were about to go on to lower the car. The wheels will be on on wednesday

I've got H&R -20mm from AMG pack which is -15mm from stock. Front is very nice with 19th, no space at all. Rear not that good, 2 fingers approximately.

Now go and get the H&R. Better ride quality than Eibach in my opinion.

Agree very nice drive, although, to be frank, not a lot changes from the technical point of view, but a lot from the feeling prospective.

I really wanna put eibach or H&R but i've heard about some problems with the original coilovers! Some guys have destroyed them after 15k miles..
Is that true??

I know everyone has said to go with Supersports but have you done this on stock shocks. Also what is the ride quality like. Near stock "sport model" or like the ricer that bounces 16 times when it hits a road bump

Ricers bounce because they use low quality struts with low quality springs, or worse, cut the springs.

A quality OEM strut with quality springs (H&R, Eibach, etc.) should be fine.

I just ordered H&R Sports for my C300 4matic, can't wait to get them on!

I realize that this is pretty late so I am hoping someone has an answer for me... so these pads are completely optional? I am looking to lower my w204 c350 with H&R super sports. 1.8" in the front 1.7" in the back...

I have never lowered any of my cars. What is the purpose of these pads and if its required really is my question..

I just did the same thing on the same car about 2 months ago(with the pads in the rear). The pads are completely optional and in my opinion unnecessary on the C350. I think with the pads the drop is too much in the rear and it's tucking too much tire. I will most likely put my original pads back on when I have some time to work on it. Here, see for yourself:
