Going wide in the back.
I'm thinking of getting some rims but they only come in 19x11 for the rear. They go up to a +50 offset though so I don't know if they will work. Has anyone in here gone past a 10" rear?
Here's the options:
19x8.5 in either +40 or +45
19x11 in either +45 or +50
I'm not worried about having to roll fenders or anything. I'm going to lower on coils and use Eibach sways.

they wont work. U need +45 for the fronts if your gonna lower and +50 on 10" to go lower. 11" wont make it w stock ride height even at +55, UNLESS u did a super stretch but only at ride height, and thats a guess on my part. If your gonna go low 8.5 and 9.5 is easiest to deal with, a 10" rear like I said has to be a high offset. It also matters w diameter, 18,19,20 all need their certain profiles to clear. I do like the wheels tho, very classy. If you really like them you could run a spacer out back or fatter tire. I didnt see specs but if they are porsche spec wheels they really should be hub centric if your gonna throw them on a MB. I have a set of euro 63 that are similar and I love them, have them on now actually. They also make a similar wheel thats a flush face wheel, look around, they come in 9.5 and 10" rear I beleive w high offsets

Thanks for the info and advice. The site has them listed as hubcentric for MB and somehow made to clear. There are a couple of sets of wheel designs that I really like and I'm going for the concave fit. Then I'm going to flush them to the top of the tire so I can still get some movement in the suspension and still be bearable to drive. 18's might work better with more tire and still 10" in the rear. I'm still doing a lot of research.

you could do 18s and 19s will work just the same, only difference would be profile in tires, 40/35 for 18s and 35/30 for 19s. Look around for some wheels you like that have higher offsets, if your gonna lower the car u will need them to have travel and not rub. Post the links and i'll let you know what will work and wont. The other thing like I said is you can get 4 same size and run fatter tires or a small spacer giving you the wide look. You can def run up to a 10" rear, just remember u need over +50 to do so without stretching ALOT of tire. The amg reps and euro 26/63 and alot of others are like 42-45 up front and 46-50 ish out back, plenty to clear with normal tires on a drop. You can honestly fit just about anything other than a 11" rear if your willing to stretch the hell out of your tires, but theres a point of looking good and riding good, its all different depending on who you are.......

Oh and I'm doing coils and sways also. Just have to find time to put all this stuff on. And if you haven't got your sways yet someone on here was saleing them or autoparts warehouse always has 10-20 % coupons which make them the cheapest and the price match tirerack
