HELP! 19" owners!!
hey guys! i need yall help on this! i know that our c300 come with 17" stock wheels and there is option of 18" rims. so with that, i guess it is okay up to 18" but when we put on 19" or bigger wheels, do you guys think we will face the troubles with ABS, traction control and stabilitrac systems, etc? also odometer will be inaccurate? i know many of you guys are running on 19's and wonder how yall manage these issues? anybody had any problems with these? i bought the 18" for front and 19" for rear since i got really good deal on the price and now wonder if there will be problems with running on this set up. (18x8 +45mm front and 19x9.5 +45mm rear)

any good rim shop or experienced rim guy will help u get as close as possible to overall stock diameter. For instance 17" stocks are a 45 series profile, I think 225 up front and 245/40 out back. So to an 18 u wanna go 40 up front 35 out back, 19s 35F and 30R. Theres actually a formula I have somewhere my area shop uses which breaks up into mm the actual sizes. If you are too far from stock ur speedo will be off and it will slightly affect other systems, but not enough to damage them. Only on a 4matic can u do damage w too much poke and width, it binds the 4wheel drive system and will lead to premature wear and failure......Personally I wouldnt do 18/19 on same car, no offense, I cant see what ur trying to gain there. Go staggered or go custom tires to give u the look, Ive seen that look before and its whacked lookin to me, but each their own, no offense meant. I do run mixed wheels from time to time, but I run a half set on each side, so car looks like 2 different cars from each side, thats what the highend rim makers do at car shows and rolling demo vehicles, love it

only thing i was trying to gain was looks. but from what I'm hearing its not worth it.
staggered? i know my real wheels are bigger than my front. i don't know if they are wider or what not, i do know they are of a different size.
so stagger is just basically having wider tires on the rear? so if i was to purchased a set of new rims they would have to be 17'' right but then stagger? does that mean that the front rims are different size than the rear rims or does it mean that all 4 rims are the same size but the tires are different size in the rear and the front?

My bad. All it matter was overall diameter...
I'm new to this rims/ tires things so I asked silly question to yall...
Wait, WHAT?
After I done my calculations,
MB optional 18" rims with 225/40-18, 255/35-18 tires, overall diameter came out :
25.09 (Front) 25.03 (Rear)
Calculations of My rims and 255/40-18, 255/30-19 tires overall diameter came out :
25.09 (Front) 25.02 (Rear)
So there will be no spedometer problems.
Those who just throw replys without the giving helps on the issue, please don't waste your time posting reply...

Price I paid for these rims were worth it! so I will give it a try, I don't think it will look weird.
Matter of fact, it will be look pretty good.
I will update the pictures when I put these rims on my car!

There are some guys that do that setup, whatever u like its ur car. Your only problem is the fronts w the 18" wheels, you are not gonna want to do 255 on a 8" wheel, its gonna look really bad. Get that down to 225 or 235 the most, Out back on the 19s I suggest a 265, the 255 will have a little too much stretch in it on a 9.5 wheel.
