Helloooooo, need some opinions :D
Helloooo,
So to cut to the chase, I need a change. It's not that I'm getting bored with my car exactly, but I guess... I'm getting bored with my car. I can't just go and buy a new car, that's way out of the question haha but I would like to do something to kinda bring some life back into it
. Don't get me wrong, I love my car a lot and I'm sure 'bored' isn't the right word, but that is all that comes to mind right now ![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Can you all throw me some ideas? Anything I can do to my car to bring back that feeling of OH MY GOD, I LOVE DRIVING MY CAR non stop. I was considering rims but I dunno, it's kinda pricey for RIGHT now, although I definitely would not mind maybe a month or two from now to just get new rims. After the winter is over at least. Coilovers? Anythingggg? I feel like I've done a lot to it already (in my eyes, although I know many of you guys have dont way more haha) so I can't think of much else to do. Hmmmmmm ideas would be much appreciated! Maybe even painting my rims for now? Okay now I'm just rambling so help me out cause I got no clueeeeee![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)
And my current mods are:
18" rims
H&R SS springs
X-pipe
Trunk and roof spoiler
Black grill and black tape where all the chrome is
HIDs on the lowbeams and yellow fogs and AZNs LEDs
MBJunkie sticker![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)

How would rims bring back the "I love driving my car!" feeling? You already have some pretty nice MRR's, right?
How about an ECU tune or front and rear anti-sway bars?

+1, assuming you mean "love driving" and not "love looking at". Eibach front and rear anti-sway bars were the biggest smile-making change I made that would create that feeling...huge improvement toward more of that "slot car" feeling for steering response.

No, it is actually quite neutral to being a bit loose coming out of a turn. When the install was done, I had the front bar in for a while before we tackled the longer rear install, and that did tighten up the front and it would push if I got into it. But, Eibach designed the front and rear bar very well to work together and it remains very neutral until I get more aggressive and the tail steps out first...sort of like an old Bimmer with a little throttle lift! Trust me, push is a downer, but the entertainment factor for this car has gone up quite a bit!! ![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)

For that type of work, I would only go to a dealer, for the latest correct part number information (sometimes superseded), any/all diagnostics, and having the performance liability attributable to a substantial company, not a local independent. Your potential cost savings from a local indy would be minimal, and likely just a small labor cost differences, as they should be buying the part from a dealer in any event...if not, you don't want it anyway.
