Never seen halos done like that. DIY or explanation? Looks excellent and not bimmerish at all.

I'll be honest... those halos look great. You pulled it off fairly well, especially on something that isn't a BMW.

I'm interested to know what he attached the halo to inside the housing, Your friend didn't take any pics during the process? Maybe you could ask him what or how he did it.

Looks good. Doesn't appear to be tough to pull off because the effect/look is provided by the current turret-style (for lack of a better term) housing of our projectors. Granted, removing the headlight assembly and cracking them open is a feat in itself, one that I will probably never try. CKreep can confirm, but it looks like normal halos installed inside/underneath the turret, which is providing the pronounced outline. Innovation is alive and well, which is good!

Dude, I have never seen anything like that and it looks AWESOME! The job came out sick! Was it expensive in parts/time? Thats creative, where'd your friend get the idea from? I'd love to do that one day. Very cool.

My buddy does all types of modifications to lights I had seen a escalade truck he had done so I asked him to smoke my lights and while he was there I told him to get creative and he outdid my expectations. Parts and labor came out to about 250$ I had already boughten the azn led brows, but I needed more to compete with all the BMWs in my area.

Correct the halo exists already and is slightly noticeable with the oem lighting he took the time and dissassembled the turret/projector and fit a strip of LEDs around.

Well I say you will definitely be competing for uniqueness because I doubt few if anyone would think to open up their light and hook it up like that! Your friend is the man, gotta give him props for Mcgyvering that $#it. Nice.
