RED Seat Belts for C63 Black Series

I like to change the Seat Belts from black to Red, same as the C63 black series, you can see in car and driver maganzine, the car is red like my C350. Where I can buy the red seat belts. I checked in ebay not available.

Seeming that the car hasn't been released yet, I would probably wait until the actual car was released. Then you would have to go ahead and order that part number or wait for replica's to be made. If you go OEM it will not be cheap. Good Luck on your search.

Replica seat belts? Someone trying to win the Darwin Award?

If someone needs red seat belts, go see your dealer's parts department!

You can always just swap the webbing.

I've seen plenty of this for those who want to color coordinate their custom interior.

no personal experience, but they usually send it off to an upholstery shop from what they told me to do the final stitching and seal. Since seat belts are kinda important, I'd want to make sure they were professionally installed personally.

Absolutely, but the issue is not just installation. The amount of stretch planned into the weave of the webbing is designed to coordinate with the inflation timing of the airbag. Only OE belts should be used unless somehow (and I can't imagine how) an aftermarket supplier can certify their belts to MB OE standards.

true, but I'm not sure how accurate it would be anyways unless there are sensors reading how tall/short, fat/skinny, weight, bra size, etc the person was and airbags would be deployed at a certain rate based off these sensor data. Someone with more fat to absorb the seat belt into their body vs someone who's cut and hits resistance immediately. As far as I know, there is a weight sensor in the seat, but that's about it.

Unless you're going to dye it without taking it out of your car it would probably be just as easy to change the webbing.

2012 C63 AMG Coupe
I've just ordered mine from MB dealership for my c63 coupe.
The whole thing plus tax is around $1300 without the installation charge.
400 sth for the front and 200 sth for the back.
It's very expensive, however, it's recommended to order factory one.

I've been thinking about doing this for a while now and finally got some part numbers from MB. Here are the #s...
20486093853d53- $414
20486094853d53- $414
20486029863d53- $234
20486030863d53- $234
20486032853d53- $161

As you can see it comes out to around $1500 for all five belts. I couldn't justify spending this much so i did some searching and turns out that the full set is about $800 on parts.com. Bad news is that i am told that they will come in 4-6 weeks (according to Parts.com, may be even longer as they are special order from factory.) I will leave an update as soon as i receive them.

any idea on what the install is like on this? I assume it just takes removing the pillars and unbolting the existing housing and bolting in the new one and threading it through the pillars?

anyone know if these would bolt on to a C55? I'm not familiar with how the seat belt assembly connects to the vehicle specifically but would definitely be interested in this.

and please dont start quoting different part numbers or I'll pay someone to come slap you with a white glove! lol

It's possible just to change the driver's seat belt right? Wouldn't mind having my seat be red and keep the passengers black
