New SprintBooster review lol
Sorry guys , I know not to beat a dead a horse but I've had my SB in for about two weeks now and thought I'd share my thoughts . Install was easy so im not gonna go into that . First impressions were pretty good , car was much more responsive and my car is pretty throttle happy to begin with . The real benefits are in s mode using tiptronic , car pulls like an animal maybe not like a very large animal but an animal nonetheless . While that is great and all the are a few downsides like peeling out in reverse and mpg . Otherwise it's a fun toy to play with . Lag time us reduced slightly and I'm not basing this on the revs simply being held higher . It's not much buts it's enough to notice . Also your perceived notion of responce is effected by the revs jumping to the sweet spot sooner . Worth the money but remember to turn it off because going in reverse will scare the crap out of you .

You do get used to it but the downshifts in tiptronic can be pretty aggressive so it's still fun. Also I don't keep on all the time as to avoid getting used to it .

I still promised to make a call to SB engineers @ UK, about their algoritim and a bit of alleged false advertising ... superficial stuff not related to the performance many enjoy, and some don't.

I have had SBs on all my cars. My Porsche C4S tiptronic benefited greatly from the SB. The 5th speed did not lag at all and there was smooth power thru all the gears. I recently put an SB on my 11 C300 and it is great, barely any lag and shifts are smooth. Acceleration from stop (especially in "s" mode) is great. When I really noticed it, is when I got a loaner car from the dealer and the C300 loaner was sluggish and not nearly as responsive and gear changes were much more slower. My experience in the loaner really solidified my belief that the Sprint Booster is one of the best mods for the money you can buy!.

i have asked before but never got an answer on it, with the old SB I still have to reset the TCU because over time the car adapts.
with the new SB, if left on all the time would it be safe to assume that the car again would adapt itself?

That said, I also feel that the green mode starts to become less sensitive over time with work commute, so do complete the reset every now and then to revive the response while driving in green mode (It takes 30 seconds, no real effort as you know)

Quick update , I reset my tcu earlier today so I decided that on my way home from the cigar shop to put her in sport and hit the red button . Holy s**t what a difference . When the tcu and ecu are fresh the SB makes a huge difference in performance . I now say hands down this is a great mod as long as you reset the tcu every so often . Can't wait to see what happens after I drop in my headers and get the according reflash .

Yup, occasionally, you still need to reset the "TCU", or more precisely the 4-step gas pedal travel reset.
With or W/O the SB, if you creep along in traffic to get to work, or school, the TCM learns your snail like driving style.

Tcu stands for throttle control unit , resetting it will restore your factory shift points . Car will pick up and go a lot better afterwards . Should be done every two weeks .
