DIY Blacking out exhaust tip

DIY Blacking out exhaust tip
This is pretty much a no brainer. My fiancee is a fan of the murdered out look so on my mission to give her benz this look I decided to black out her stock exhaust tip (I will do the same once we get a aftermarket exhaust)

Remove the tip, it's a torx screw



Clean, Scuff and clean again, make sure the every surface is scuffed! Then, using your choice of high temp paint, spray light coats. You will need to each side (4 sides) each at a time.




Eventually you'll end up with this

I have my quad tips in black and they look awesome like more sporty look so good choice on blacking out your tips

It's held up fine, just take your time with prepping and spraying and you'll be OK.
