2012 C300
iPhone integration w/ iOS 5
Just bought a 2012 C300 and tried to use the iPhone integration. It pulled down the phone contacts, the phone works fine, and the audio works via Bluetooth (Pandora, etc), but not the iPod tunes. I attached both a regular iPod, and an older iPhone running iOS 4.2.1. Both worked fine with the MB audio system. Any known issues with iOS 5?

I play music from my iPhone playlist all the time with no problems and I have the updated iOS 5 on it.

IPhone 4 w/iOS 5. i haven't streamed audio, but I've plugged it in and run playlists and such off it without issues.

Thanks for the posts, but I was hoping someone else is battling the same gremlin... I'll try it again today. Just found it odd that the music from a straight iPod and a 3G iPhone would work, but not a iPhone 4.

my ios5 iphone four wont auto reconnect! pisses me off....

I have to manually turn off and turn on my phone evertime I get in my car to get it to be recognized again...

anybody else have this problem ever???... pretty sure its my phone, cus it does the same thing with my wireless bluetooth stereo headphones now too...

Try deleting the pair and re-pairing, I seem to remember when you pair for the first time, there's an option whether to automatically reconnect.

Also, one of my bluetooth headsets had that problem, I deleted it and reconnected, and everything was fine.

Mine pulled in the contacts, no problem, from my iPhone 4. It's playing the music from the phone's iTunes that has me stuck.

Go to settings on you iPhone , BT settings, MB audio and then you can select to sync your contacts.

It doesn't give me that option, only option is to delete the pairing.
For the people who have downloaded contacts, do you have COMAND, or Audio 20? I have A20.

Has anyone with Audio 20 managed to make the contacts download?

I have the Comand S32 and I am able to load my contacts and stream music from my iPhone 4 w/iOS5.

After pairing my iPhone 4 (which gave me issues pairing until I deleted all other parings on the iPhone 4), it synched the contacts right away and later I went to bluetooth to play music off it and it said it wasn't connected, I selected reconnect last device and it worked.

Not sure if this helps.

Did it ask you? Does it do it automatically? Did you have to click anything?
