Just wanted to drop by and introduce myself. I have driven Japanese cars for ages and recently made the switch to German when the 2012 C350 came out. The interior changes made a huge difference to me as well as the extra power in the C350's engine.

Living in LA, I see a lot of the W204's on the road, but locating the C350 was harder than I thought. I've had it for a week now and I am really enjoying the car so far, but the break in period is killing me. My previous car was an IS250 and the difference feels night and day to me.

The differences in the Lexus navigation and the Comand are very apparent. I preferred the touch screen, but I've come to like the controller. The only thing that beats this in the Lexus nav is the Destination input. So much easier on the Lexus. Maybe when I master the voice control it'll be easier.

Loving the iPod integration, the easy input of a usb/SD card and even better the streaming of Bluetooth audio from my iphone. I got s32, rear-view camera, black/black with burl walnut and obviously the P1 comes with it. Added all-weather mats (funny since I live in LA and it never rains) and a 35% tint all around.

I hope to be a part of the community and if anyone has any recommendations for service in LA I'm all ears. Thanks. Here are some pics!

Congratulations ! But in my opinion, a mercedes without Xenon is ugly. You should've get the lightning package, the car would've look muuuuuuuch better... Very nice ride though !

I don't agree unless you ONLY drive at night. Most of the time the lights won't be on anyway.

I think the car is absolutely stunning. The C350 is proving to be VERY hard to find since the facelift. The new 3.5 is fantastic, you have the great facelift design, and a fantastic car all around. I'd hang onto that one for a while to come.

Very nice indeed! You made a right choice picking this one!

Very cool! Curious though, what does MB recommend as the break-in mileage/procedure for the engine?

1000 miles, no redlining, drive it easy.

I'm loving this car. I am seriously addicted to new car smell. It must be terrible for you but I don't care.

As for the Lighting Package, it wasn't on it and it just didn't mean that much to me to order one with it. I'm sure it both works and looks great, but it's just an option that I didn't really care enough about to deter me from taking this one.

The acceleration in this thing is wicked.

real niceeee, congrats and welcome! It's true those new 350s seem to be rare, it's resale value will probably hold up relatively well. The car must be pretty fast too with 302hp, good choice buying an MB!

The breakin period is for the driver to get used to the car. So they don't go crazy and kill themselves. Nice car, I almost got one.
